To be the champ, you gotta beat the champ, so I'd go with beating the Eagirls once and splitting with the deadskins. I really don't care about the streak anymore. I want to start winning superbowls. And the road to the superbowl goes through Philly. They're the team we should have our sights on.

That said, we HAVE to beat the skins at home. Can't lose home divisional games.

Yes but there's something sweeter about a SB victory that also comes with a sweeping of the Skins.
If they beat us once and we still win the SB, they would just harp on the fact that they still beat us.

I can deal with that from Philly fans.... but not Skins fans.

I'd rather go 0-2 vs the SKins and win the Superbowl then go 1-1 or 2-0 against them and not win the superbowl. It's ALL about superbowls. I can care less about what their fans think. Us winning the superbowl would make them feel worse then use sweeping them again.

I agree entirely.
I was assuming that if we win the Super Bowl, which of the 2 scenarios would I prefer occur during the season.

But the Bowl is the most important goal... period.

Definitely the 1-1 split with both the Skins and the Eagles...

The Eagles are the team to beat in the NFC, and if we can beat them... well then that shows we're good enough to go all the way.

Exactly. I'd have to have a few more choices to pick from before I could choose.

I would put Mondays game as a top priority. I'd rather get swept by the Eagles than lose this week. After that, I'd go for a 1-1 against both.

The law of averages states that sooner or later the Skins will get fluke lucky and win one.

Of course to those fools, any victory over Dallas would be proof positive their D is not only better than the 85 Bears, but their O better than the 99 Rams as well.

The rest of the world would just see it as an any given Sunday thang.

Better to beat the Eagles once than one of the worst teams in the league twice.

Agreed with the 1-1 over both teams over the 2-0 over the skins.

It would give us a better chance at winning the NFC East if we split with the eagles because they are the ones to beat.

Oh...and don't forget the giants in there, they always give us a tough time.

Although I love when we beat the skins....the overall record trying to get back to the superbowl is the top goal, beating the skins is part of that goal to increase our record but it is only Part of the goal.

Perhaps I have to much spite toiwards the deadskins, but the only thing that has kept me going these last few years is our utter dominance of our hated rivals. I would love to be able to say 16 our of 17 at the end of the year, even at the expense of 2 Eagles losses.

2-0, 2-0, plus another 2-0 versus the Giants but I'm greedy like that.

Honestly, I don't see how either helps us more. Splitting with the Eagles does not give us a tie-breaker advantage against them, so it would come down to division record anyway. We split with them and Washington, but they sweep everybody else, we lose the division anyway.
