Remember back in '92 when we lost that game in DC, when Aikman was sacked in the end zone. Jimmy laid a fit on the plane ride back. Years later, he said that losing a game in December after your team has been on a roll can be a good thing for refocusing your team. Does anyone remember and agree with this? While this whipping was bad, can it refocus us? I think so, or hope so! :laugh2:

I think it can refocus a team, but I am worried about their confidence and they have to play Atlanta next.

We will see what they're made of!

I shut it off last night when they challenged whether Karney was in for 35-17... I had seen enough lack-luster play from the Cowboys.

Last night, the Saints looked like the team to beat in the NFC!

When reality set in for me that this was going to be a loss, I told my buddy "I hope the Saints drop 50 on the Boys', I hope that they embaress them." I am guilty of what the Boys were guilty of, I honestly felt they could just show up play a tight game in the 1st half and blow them out in the 2nd half.

This was a complete and total loss. Very disappointing. But the season isn't over.

I can't say that I think the loss last night was a good thing, though.

None of this matters....I happen to think we will win out......but none of this matters.

This team is not a serious Super Bowl contender because WE CANNOT get to the QB. Heck I would take consistent pressure...because sacks are just out of the question with this team. But we cannot even get pressure.

Our schemes on both sides of the ball are simple....heck, IF WE MADE it to the Super Bowl the opposition would have 2 weeks to prepare for a team us...and truthfully speaking, you can game plan for the cowboys in one day. None of these flaws show up when you play bad teams. But what happened to us tonight would NEVER happen to REAL top defenses.

Agreed! This is it in a nutshell. We can't pressure a QB consistently. Last night, this fact changed what the offense tried to do. They had to play catch-up...

Sad to say, this offseason probably is another defensive focused affair. Lots of holes to fill on both sides of the ball.

I dont know about focus, but I hope it pisses them the Hell off, if thats the case I feel sorry for the Falcons. If not we crumble.

Oh and btw, RW needs to gain about 10 lbs and be made into a LB, his coverage skills are beyond pathetic.
