Who do you have to win or lose this week?

Ok, now that we will be back in action and with Zeke, with Hitchens and Lee back. I am ready for a win, and I am calling this a must win.
Who do want to win this week. Obviously Dallas, well I hope you all want them to win. And all other NFCE teams to lose, though 2 of them play each other.

For NFC and games that help Dallas
Dallas over SF
Bills over TB, Bears over Panthers, Saints over GB
Ravens over Vikings, though a Vikings win puts them ahead of GB, and knocks down the Ravens. A Vikings win wouldn't hurt at this point in the grand scheme of things.
Rams over Cards, let the Rams take the West, and keep Seattle out.
Giants / Seahawks...hmmm, a loss for NY still would be great, but a loss for Seattle could be better?
Falcon / NE, normally AFC over NFC, but really can't stand NE, a NFC win here won't hurt things in the long run, if we are the team we need to be, we just need to win.
Eagles / Commanders, Commanders here, Eagles need a loss.


Other games, that help Bengals for a WC
Bengals over Steelers, pretty much a must win for the Bengals
Chiefs over Raiders, Browns over Titans
Jaguars over Colts, as I do not want the Texans to take this division, Chargers over Broncos, just because
Jets / Dolphins, does it matter, probably not

100% a must win. If they lose this game then I will be looking towards the draft.

Too early in the season for me to start stressing about what other teams are doing. I just want the Cowboys to start looking like the team from last year again. If they can't string together wins, then what other teams do is irrelevant. That being said, if the Cowboys beat the niners I will have to root for the skins. If they beat the eagles and the Cowboys win, the Cowboys would only be 1 game back of both teams in the loss column.

This is a must win for Dallas, especially if the Eagles beat the Skins. If Eagles are 6-1 and we are 2-4, sitting 3.5 games behind Philly with just 10 left is pretty grim.

Now that worm has turned (possibly) in Zeke case. I think Dallas has to go all in. I would do the following:

1. Trade for rotational 1-tech DT.
2. Start Cooper at LG rest of year.
3. Split snaps between Williams & Butler.
4. Split snaps between Woods & Heath

Dallas is no longer in a position to play it safe. Its no longer: this is what we do...try and stop us. Both coordinators needs to earn their checks and get creative on both sides.

Your last paragraph depresses me. There is no chance in hell this conservative coaching staff suddenly gets aggressive with personnel, game plans, etc.

They fancy themselves on being smooth and steady, even to their own detriment.

I expect pretty much the same stuff going forward. Nothing has changed much in 7 years, why would it change after 5 games?

Considering the opposition, we need to win, and look good doing it. No dumb mistakes/penalties. Clean, nice win.

This could be a nice morale booster and give us some kind of positive energy heading into Washington.
