Who do you want the Cowboys to claim

1. Drake Nevis (Colts)
2. Marvin Austin (Giants)
3. Jaye Howard (Seahawks)
4. Philip Blake (Broncos) PS

So pretty much I want to see us walk away with at least one DT and a developmental interior OL.

Yeah I wouldn't spend a roster spot on him but since Weems (a developmental player) holds a 53 roster spot a extended try out (practice squad) for Blake couldn't hurt.

On the surface he has all the ties to come here.

Played for butch Davis, marinelli scouted him, we need a dt desperately.

Butch is a special assistant in Tampa though so they could claim him before us.

Fwiw broaddus just said that the team is in the claim game.

He doesn't know any names at this point and they are awaiting to hear from the league office on who has been awarded to which teams.

I agree he'll need some coaching, but he does have the physical tools and he is only 24yrs old. I think he just needs to stay healthy and play. He missed '10 bc of the suspension, missed '11 bc of the pec and played sparingly last year.
