Who else wants Giants at Packers?

were in for a very tough matchup no matter who we get in first game. i hope that this young team is ready because it will be one and done.

Once you get to the divisional round only the cream of the crop remains. Everyone seems to be giving the Pack that week 17 game but they play in Detroit.

People have talked about resting starters but it's more interesting to think about holding back a bit in the game plan against the Lions. We could very well be playing them in the divisional round (after they beat the Giants in the wildcard round) and we should use the week 16 game to learn more about their tendencies, spring our full bag of tricks in the playoff game.

Anyone you play is going to be good. And let's assume that another team plays and beats the Falcons. Shouldn't you, then, be scared of the team that beat the team you feared playing?

The Cowboys have the number 1 seed. They did all they could do. If they deserve to get to the Super Bowl, they will. If they don't they won't. And they'll either win or lose to the team that does or doesn't deserve to either. It's as simple as that. :p

Thank you. That really does or does not clear things up!

My ideal playoff seeding would've been:
#1 Cowboys
#2 Atlanta
#3 Seattle
#4 Detroit
#5 NYG
#6 Tampa

That way we'd get the winner (likely) of Tampa/Detroit and the NYG/Atl/Seattle could duke it out for the right to come lose in Dallas.

I'm a little on the fence about winning the Detroit game, obviously I never want to lose a game but a Detroit win keeps Washington out of the playoffs in all likelihood as I see GB winning in Detroit next week. NYGs may rest starters at Washington next week which would mean two more Detroit losses puts them out and GB and Wash in. Whereas a Detroit win this week and a loss next week puts them and GB in and Wash out.

What? Ny probably beats Detroit and Seattle beats TB and we get the Giants in the 2nd round.

Green Bay at home would annihilate the Giants. It would be a Blowout and game would be over after 3 quarters. It would be a game like when Greenbay embarrassed Seatlle.

I will be rooting for a double overtime low scoring game with lots of injuries for both teams........I'm harsh, but truthful......:)

That would be interested. I think the Seahawks went from 2nd seed to 4th seed with the loss today though.

Loved seeing that dumbfounded face on Peter Caroll when the XP failed. Reality is that Cards still marched to FG for the win... Where was that vaunted D when it counted...

Do you want Washington put because they are our division nemesis or because they may pose a problem in the playoffs should we meet them?

In your seeding, Tampa plays Seattle, not Detroit.

It felt like I was watching the 2015 Cowboys defense.

I would rather face Eli than Rodgers in the playoffs. The packers are a worse team no doubt but Eli can lose a game single handedly.

My packers buddy keeps telling me the cowboys want no part of GB right now. I just keep responding how's GB D gonna stop Zeke and the Dallas O?
