I am sure the Giants will come out and play hard and compete.
But Dallas is just the better football team and there is no sign of them letting up.
Murray is gonna run hard, the OL is going to try to destroy the Giants front 7, Dez will want to dominate, Ro will try to knock someone's head off every play.
That stuff is just their basic demeanor every week.

Veterans like Romo and Witten want badly to beat the Giants because they have derailed a couple solid Cowboys seasons.
Putting a fork in the Giants and Commanders is definitely on the agenda.

Manning is 4-1 at AT&T Stadium. First divisional game. This will be drilled into the team, I see no reason for a letdown.
yeah i tend to agree. This is for the most part a new and very young team. We forget this team is not those 8-8 teams. Tony, Jason, witten, murray and players like Spencer and Church will not let this team down. They will be ready.

this is the nice thing about having very good young players on a team...there are mature vets there to explain the pains and disappointments of the past,

don't let up......you are not promised this same success ever. make it count.

It all depends on the tempo of the first quarter. ...if we come out and punch them in the nose, i.e. a 7-8 minute ram it down your throat drive and the D won't even let you sniff mid-field. This would demoralize the Giants and they would most likely crumble after that; however, if we let them hang around or get an early lead due to our mistakes, their confidence will be high and they would like nothing more than to bring us back down to earth. The same holds true the following week against the skins. Both are inferior teams that would turn the game against us into their SB if we let them.

I expect one of the typical patterns - e.g., either the Cowboys come out flat or we dominate early but don't finish with TD's. Regardless of what happens in the first half I expect that we will prevail at the end. This Cowboys team does not quit...

The Giants are a prideful team with championship pedigree. They will play hard. However, all the grit and determination in the world can't make you more talented. There is not one area where the Giants have a matchup advantage.

For the Giants to win this game, they will have to play above and beyond their normal capabilities. Or, the Cowboys would have to make a slew of mistakes. Strangely enough, the Cowboys have Had a knack for overcoming their mistakes this year. They won a game in Seattle in which they were -2 in the turnover department.

I'm so tired of the giants hitting us in the mouth and us buckling. I think after the Seattle game, that we will finally stand toe 2 toe and win the battle

I keep reading comments by Cowboys fans claiming that the Cowboys may have a mental let-down and be complacent after that exhilarating win over Seattle, while the Giants will be angry and fired-up after being crushed in Philadelphia, thus giving the mental edge to the Giants.

Sounds logical, but if it were roles reversed, those same Dallas fans would probably be talking about how the Cowboys, coming off of a devastating 27-0 defeat, just had their spirits crushed and deflated while the Giants, fresh off a stunning 30-23 upset win over the defending champions, would be brimming with confidence and ready to smash any opponent.

So, let's settle this once and for all. Just who exactly has the mental edge? The team that just won big? Or the team that just lost big?

(This isn't a rhetorical question, it's a genuine one.)

This isn't about the Giants, this is about the Cowboys preparing to face the next team in their schedule and follow the same formula in their last 5 games. Follow the script that's been laid for them how to defeat the Giants by the coaches. They've proven their mental toughness since the loss to the Niners, if they execute and play to their strength they are a better team.
