Third and one will be Romo passing to Dez, Beastly, or Witten.

Its important to have a running game. The offensive line should help to ensure that we have a viable running game. Its better to have a stud running back, because it makes decisions easier, but its not required for having a good over all running game.

Some of you folks are going to be pleasantly surprised at what McFadden and even Randle will be able to do in short yardage situations behnid this OL. As good as Murray was, he didn;t do it all by himself.

I will trust our FO that they just did not see any of the RBs (other than Gurley and Gordon) as an upgrade over McFadden, Ryan Williams, and Randle. But which of them can we rely upon to get tough yards, the 3rd and 1s that Murray almost converted 100% of? I just dont see short yardage and tough yards as any of their strengths. Which is just as important as breakaway ability.

Romo!

I cant believe the disrespect Murray is getting..................news flash, Murray was hit several times behind the LOS and pushed the pile forward for positive yards or what Garrett called "dirty yards".

To think a guy that spent the entire season on the freaking practice squad is going to come in and do the same is laughable, but that's just me I guess.

The fretting over RB has reached epidemic proportions.

If this were 2008, I'd get it, but I'm shocked at how quickly the memories of this OL blowing holes wide open have faded…but then again, I'm not shocked at all.

Tough yards are tough yards.

Don't act like everything was wide open.

Demarco Murray got probably 800 of those yards by his physicality alone breaking tacklkes and lunging forward every time he fell down. Murray didn't fall backwards.

I keep hearing stuff like McFadden is a 3rd down back.
It's almost the opposite potentially. He actually is a bigger guy and they say he has real talent running between the tackles. He just needs to regain trust that at least half the time a hole will actually be there. He lost some faith over the years, to his detriment.

I'm real curious (though wary) to see how he does.

Have to admit, I have my share of skepticism, because I saw a mixed bag in Oakland. Part was circumstance with the oline, but some was him too,
We could be pleasantly surprised. Really same goes for all four backs.
I'd like to hve added a decent rookie, but you can't assume any of these guys (outside of the top ones) would have been better. It's pure speculation.
