Who has played well this year?

I know everyone is blaming everyone right now

but who has played well for the Cowboys this year?

My vote is Ware, he has given it his all every single game, sad he has to go down with the rest of them :(

Ware, Choice, Witten, and Felix Jones (pre injury).

The rest of these idiots, including Marion Barber, can hit the road.

Witten
D-Ware
Ratliff
Romo (Yes I still think he did well this year. I know everyone hates him at the end of the year but I thought he played well for most of his time in)

Choice and Jones also played well when they were given the chances to.

Ware has been the best. Choice has played extremely well, especially considering he was thrown in the starting lineup with very little preparation. Also Witten, who has been a warrior despite numerous injuries. Bradie James has played really well at times, but is piss-poor in coverage. Newman has had his moments, but he has also played poorly at times, and has been his normal oft-injured self. I think Spears has played fairly well also. Can't say a whole hell of a lot about anyone else.

Bradie James.
Demarcus ware.
Jason witten
Miles austin
Jay ratliff

those were the standouts. I still think Tony Romo played well and so did barber but I know the feelings about those guys around here.

  1. Ware
  2. Witten
  3. Scandrick (cut Pac Man and let this kid play)
  4. Bennett
  5. Choice
  6. Ratliff
All I can think of right now. I'm sure others had good seasons, but I'm too ticked off right now.

We do have very, very good rookies with loads of talent and promise. Overall, the best in awhile.

If this team had a backup quarterback that was anywhere near as competent as a Matt Cassell, Romo would have been benched a long time ago.

Oops I forgot him somehow. He has been the best player in the draft and a tremendous asset to this team.

I'm assuming your post is in jest. Hamlin has sucked and so have Tank and Pac. Spears, however, has played pretty damn well.

Choice is a player.

Witten leaves it all out there.

Ware is the best pass rusher in the NFL.

Newman is good, he was injured so I really don't know how much he really had to work with.

All of the other DB's (especially Pacman and Hamlin, mainly the saftey's) need to go.

Some have...maybe more than most will get credit for.

The problem is alot of the guys we really counted on as being impact, or excellent players werent. Alot of high priced guys played poorly or had up and down seasons.

Offensively, I'd say Witten, Choice, Felix Jones, Bennett, maybe Austin even though he didnt get many chances.

Defensively I'd say Ware, Newman, Ratliff and James without a doubt. Burnett was pretty good most of the yr. I thought Spears had a pretty decent yr. Scandrick was pretty good, Jenkins had a couple of bad plays but otherwise showed good cover skills.

Folk's been money, so has the deep snapper.

At least field goal wise. His kickoffs have been horrid. Next year we should seriously look into getting a KO specialist.
