Who here still thinks we make the playoffs?

You have seen my opinons in a couple of other threads I started, so you know how I feel after this game tonight. Some in here have apparently given up already. For me, the 2008 season is not over and we are still in the playoff hunt. I know we need some help now, we no longer control our destiny. I, in all my heart really believe we will beat the Eagles next week. I also think Tony Romo will have a good game. I am as sure as I am about to post this new thread, that the Cowboys will be 10-6 after beating Philly next week, but we need a little help from the Vikings.

I have no qualms in saying I believe in God, so I suggest this, we pray for a Cowboy win against the Eagles and we pray for a Viking win, and make a deal with the Lord, that if that scenerio should happen, any wins after that is just a bonus.

I believe we will win next week, I think we will get in the playoffs. It ain't over til it is over. If I am wrong, well worst things have happened, but I am going to keep my faith and until we are officially out of the playoffs I will not worry about 2009. Sorry for another long winded post, it is becoming a real bad habit of mine.

I'll be rooting like crazy tomorrow for either Atlanta or Tampa Bay to lose.

At this point I honestly don't care. After watching the last game in Texas Stadium go like that and then have a ceromny commerating all the greatness that was....this team is nothing but a bunch of imposters with a few bright spots. I am sure I will care again tomorow and be pulling for Minn and SD and Wash, but tonight its just like whats the point. Spelling Errors abound.

I am still holding onto hope that we make the playoffs. We just need some help. We definitely need Minnesota to beat Atlanta tomorrow, we need Washington to beat Philly and we need San-Diego to beat Tampa. All of those could very well happen! The Washington game is a division one, so there is a possibility of an upset, the San Diego game definitely can be done. They are due, and Tampa(IMO) is overrated. Minny has been playing excellent ball, they are at home and should def take care of business against ATL.....If those 3 things happen tomorrow, we will be in the exact same spot that we were in tonight...

They are playing Oakland and the Rams next week... If TB and Atlanta win tomorrow, it's probably over...

I do feel we can beat Philly. We came back from a debacle at Pittsburgh and beat the top ranked NFC team. We can come back from this loss too.

I think the Cowboys are going to be kicking themselves after this game, because I believe the help is coming tomorrow.

We don't need all three of those things to happen. We don't even care about Washington-Philadelphia anymore, except maybe to make our game next week easier if the Eagles are already eliminated. (Although I doubt they'd play with any less intensity if they could knock us out of the playoffs.)

All we need is EITHER Minnesota or San Diego to win, and we'd control our destiny again.

I'm not giving up either. However, I'm not making any predictions on whether we get into the tournament until I see tomorrow's results. If we don't get the right combination of help tomorrow, then next week likely won't matter. The teams ahead of us (Atl and TB) have mail-in games next week, so at least one of them have to lose tomorrow, or it's all over. That said, as long as we're mathematically alive, I'm still rooting.
