Who is a realistic HC next year?

Jerry looked pretty pissed today. I have not visited in awhile and I am sure this thread has been put through the ringer but humor me. Is Cowher or anybody of any caliber considered w/ JJ imposing his will? What young coach would anybody consider? and would you be pleased with Gruden? I really have no idea, we went the big name in Parcells and the little name with Georgia Techs coach (can't remember his name right now, trying to numb myself.

I don't know...but would it be weird to promote Joe DeCamillis to the position?

Otherwise they should look at Shanny, Jim Harbaugh, and maybe Zimmer if he would come back...though I am not sure if that would happen.

Gracias....I can't imagine Cowher ever becoming Cowboys HC and Holmgren isn't the answer.

DeCamillis is intense, smart, knows the roster, and commands respect....to me he is the ideal candidate.

I do really like Harbaugh though.

Dont kid yourself it will be Garrett. Jerry is likely still under the delusion the roster and staff only needs minor tweaks, like a new kicker.

I liked Ron Rivera when Jerry settled on Wade. He also took over SD defense after the previous DC was dropped by Turner and has done a pretty good job and he seems to be able to run a 4-3 or a 3-4

Wow good answers and nobody I would have thought of in some posts. I don't think Garrett because isn't he part of the problem? I know Cowher is a fluke but I want somebody hard nosed in here. Maybe we can get Tom Cable, at least he will punch his asst. coaches for being *******es.....J/K

I love Jerry but he should have no input on who the hired head coach will be other than working out the contract. I know it will not happen but this is the only way this franchise will ever move forward again.

I guess JG. Holmgren wants to coach again but doubt he could handle Jerry. We will also have to get a new DC who will run the 3-4.
