who is ben noll?

is this guy an undrafted rookie, or a free agent that we signed , where did we get him from?

Rams tried to sneak him to their practice squad last year and BP nabbed him. In one press conference this year BP actually said that Noll would be the future starter at RG, then later he said that Noll was having a disapointing camp. He apparently rebounded.

Noll is from the St. Louis area. He played college ball at the University of Pennsylvania. After he went undrafted, he signed with the Rams - his hometown team. He showed enough in camp for the Rams to want to sign him to their practice squad. We signed him last year. He actually started a game towards the end of the season last year. Since he is an Ivy Leaguer, I am assuming that he is smart. He moves pretty well - although he is not your classic 330 "road grader" as an Offensive Guard. He is a decent backup.
