I have been through this in my mind and thought about it way too much. This is what i can gather.....and I really think that Lattimore would not clear, and if cut he would in fact be on the active roster in B-More, and I am sure the Cowboys scouts and coaches know this ( total guess and opinion on my part ). I really think he has enough of "what it takes" to make this team. ST play, running ability and attitude.

I would take an extra swing back/RB/FB over a 4the TE...........

Think Wade said that a sixth was under consideration depending on alot of areas, probably such as LB with Burnett and Spencer not being available for the Cleveland game.

Also, understand it is a possiblity that Jones, Adam could be suspended the first 4 games. At least that is an option for the commissioner. Hope not.

Almost bet that the IR will see a couple of players if they get the slightest injury Thursday. Guys like Marcus Dixon or Mark Bradford or Todd Lowber or a number of others depending on if they 1) get hurt and 2)whether Jerry feels he could get them to the PS or not.

I agree with this, but I think we keep Walden over Davis until Burnett and Spencer are back at full capacity. Then he goes on PS and Davis gets called up.

Pretty sure Lowber will be PS. No one is going to put him n their 53 man roster. It boils down to Amendola and Jefferson. With Austin and Stanback both hurt, I can see both sticking at least to start the season. After the first game, FA a vet can be brought in.

I think Stanback should go ahead and get his shoulder fixed. We don't need another player taking up a roster spot that won't play. Whether you love or hate Amendola and Jefferson, either would have contributed more last year than Terry Glenn did.

i agree to an extent, however most of the time last year when we went to the 4 receiver set Witten was in the lineup along with Owens, Crayton & Hurd. So if Amendola and Jefferson won't be contributing on ST that 1st weekend at Cleveland, I can see us keeping only 5 WR's and waiting for Austin and Stanback to return from injury. On week 2 we can make the descision as to sign a veteran for the minimun and sending Stanback to IR to make room on the roster.

And Stanback may need season ending surgery and go to IR.
These two issues may help Amendola and another player (possibly ST player....RB Coleman/Latimore....other...).

I just can't get over thinking that we'll trade/cut Tony Curtis, and keep Hannah, who has been pretty good at times this preseason, and he can also play fullback in a pinch if I'm not mistaken.
