Look at every team that played dallas and the following week lose. Happened almost every game this season

Teams are 2-8 this year the following week after playing the Cowboys. The Rams, Giants and Jaguars had a bye after the Cowboys game but all three lost the following week.

Good point.

But they play before the Cowboys play. Are we supposed to ignore the result because we have our game face on?

maybe I read his post wrong, but I took it that he meant the Commanders game against us

NFL Network really needs to fire its branding department. Seriously, any chance the Deadskins win this game? Do we really want them to, considering we play them the following week and kind of don't really need them having any kind of momentum?

Philly is reeling right now after 2 straight losses and has Mark Sanchez at QB so that gives Washington a chance. RG3 is trying to resurrect his career and with Washington in a spoiler role they can throw caution to the wind which makes them a scary team for Philly who desperately needs that game. We need Washington to win because if they do and the Cowboys beat Indy tomorrow the Cowboys will have the NFC East locked up regardless if they lose to Washington in week 17.

If Philly beats Washington and the Cowboys beat the Colts tomorrow and the Cowboys can't beat a 3 win Washington team that hasn't won a game since they beat the Cowboys in week 8 then the Cowboys don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Still don't understand this. They lost to the Super Bowl champs and a 10-4 division foe. How is that reeling?

Regardless who they lost to they've lost 2 straight games with the playoffs approaching that's "reeling" in my book. You don't have to lose to bad teams to be reeling. In the context I used the word "reeling" means stumbling and 2 straight losses at this stage in the season has Philly stumbling. If they lose today they could be done if the Cowboys win out.

Hoping RG3 will put on a show. Never thought I'd say that.

Still don't understand this.

Let me expand a little more when Philly beat the Cowboys on Thanksgiving they were in excellent shape in control of their own destiny but after dropping their last 2 games it's left them in a tough spot. The best Philly can do is 11 wins and that might not be enough to make the playoffs. By losing their last 2 games the Cowboys now have control and if they win out they win the East and Philly may need some help to gain a wildcard. Had Philly won their last 2 games they would have a playoff spot practically wrapped up and a win today or next week would get them in. Not only did they lose to Seattle and the Cowboys but they were clearly beaten in both games.

Although Seattle didn't blow Philly out the Seahawks dominated them. The Cowboys jumped out to a 21 point lead on Philly and although they came back to take the lead the Cowboys ended up winning going away. Mark Sanchez whose biggest problem has been turnovers during his career has 3 turnovers the past 2 games compared to only 2 TD passes. His highest passer rating the past 2 weeks was 76.2 vs Seattle. His game is starting resemble what we saw his last few seasons in NY and that doesn't bode well for Philly who can't afford to drop another game.

Wasn't sure the exact number but Dallas and Seattle are physical teams so that could have something to do with it. Thanks for the numbers

I would just call it "Saturday night football" on Saturday.
