I am under no delusions any of the guys are the answer. In fact, I think it's likely that no matter who is the QB, we are really going to struggle to stay afloat. The only glimmer of hope is that the rest of the division kind of blows.
That said, I suspect Cassel is the best option at this point. I've seen enough of Weeden to know he's limited to the point he hurts the offense. Whether the coaches don't trust him to put the ball down the field or he's too chickenpoop to throw down the field, this team cannot win as presently constituted by trying to dink and dunk your way down the field with 50% or more of your pass attempts to your running backs. But that's Weeden. He's another member of the Captain Checkdown Society.
I've seen enough to know that in another week or so, once Cassel gets a better understanding of the O, thta he needs to take over.
