Anyone who isn't (insert name of most recent QB to start a game for us).
The grass is always greener to some, when in reality they're all likely a pretty equal shade of brown.

I am under no delusions any of the guys are the answer. In fact, I think it's likely that no matter who is the QB, we are really going to struggle to stay afloat. The only glimmer of hope is that the rest of the division kind of blows.

That said, I suspect Cassel is the best option at this point. I've seen enough of Weeden to know he's limited to the point he hurts the offense. Whether the coaches don't trust him to put the ball down the field or he's too chickenpoop to throw down the field, this team cannot win as presently constituted by trying to dink and dunk your way down the field with 50% or more of your pass attempts to your running backs. But that's Weeden. He's another member of the Captain Checkdown Society.

I've seen enough to know that in another week or so, once Cassel gets a better understanding of the O, thta he needs to take over.

I think one big factor is the defense has to improve. We will get some key players after the Saints game. But an offense using a backup is likely not going to put up a ton of points, defense must do their jobs. Normally what is asked of a backup is not looking for him to win the game for you but do not do things to lose the ball game for you. That is the role of a bus driver.

Give Weeden 2 Qtrs and if he implodes stick in Moore. Cassell needs a few weeks min.

To be honest we should have beatAtl. It goes to the point was going short a huge part of the game plan? If it wasn't I'll take Moore if Weeden has become gun shy. But heck once Weeden start throwing the ball +20 yards the ints will come. Cassell is what? I don't know but we still give this guy a lot of credit for the work he did in 2008, almost 7 years ago. While in the mean time he can't stick on a teams roster. At the moment our OC clearly want Moore and with reason. Ive seen this guy play preseason football but he probably wont start until its too late.

Based on the number of wins Cassel is the better of the 3 QB's but if Weeden has to be replaced due to ineffective play the Cowboys will be in serious trouble. He's the QB who's the most prepared to play for this team the one the Cowboys have been working with for 2 years so if they have to go with Cassel who just got here and is trying to learn the offense this season will end up in the toilet. As for Moore he certainly isn't ready to play and keep the Cowboys afloat he's never taken a regular season snap he's only here because he played under Scott Linehan and knows the offense.

Weeden has the physical talent to be more than a bus driver, and outshines the other two, but he's missing something upstairs when it comes to being a NFL QB.

I think Cassel is our best option once he learns the playbook.
Moore, IMO, is nothing more than just an insurance policy till Cassel gets up to speed.

Mr. Tony. He drives the bus for my kids.

Of the other options, I would go with Cassel as soon as he has the terminology down. Driving the bus didn't get the win against the Falcons and it probably has no shot against the Patriots and Seahawks. He is the only one capable of more when the need arises.

I vote Weeden. He's the QB. Cassel is the backup until Weeden actually fails to execute the game plan or implodes. What Weeden did, he did very well....now they have to ask him to do more, or the running game must be better, or the receivers have to find a way to get open.

Cassel. He drove Tom Brady's bus wonderfully.

He was driving a bus that won 18 straight games the previous year and was loaded with talent. I believe that team would have lost no fewer than 2 games with Brady and likely would have reached the SB again. Cassel only had one season that could be considered pretty good after he left and that was in 2010. His career stats are average to say the least so regardless who the Cowboys put behind center it's going to be tough to win many if any games until Romo returns as depleted as this team is. When you don't have a top receiver, RB or a solid defense it's very difficult to win with an average QB.

If Cassel were ready I'd go with him. He's proven he can win, to some degree, in this league in the past. So I'd feel most comfortable with him.

Until he's ready though then Weeden is the best option for the bus driver.

The problem is, based off the posts around here since Sunday, is that people who thought they wanted a bus driver QB obviously didn't want that. Either that or they don't understand what a bus driver QB is.

If the Cowboys don't start running the ball consistently and play better defense than we saw on Sunday they won't win another game until Romo returns. The offense is going to be without their two best players for several more weeks and regardless whether it's Weeden or Cassel we're going to be in serious trouble with either one unless the running game and defense steps up big. We're not going to be winning any shootouts with our QB situation and we're going to have a tough time battling from behind especially if we get down by two scores so everyone has to step up or the Cowboys could be in a deep hole by the time Romo returns.

Rather have farve over any of these 3! Weedens their guy though until he screws up big time.

The Cowboys would have a better chance with Moore than old man Favre who's been sitting around collecting rust for 5 years. A team would have to be beyond desperate to pull his 45 year old ace off a tractor and throw him out there.

One other thing about Favre he wouldn't have an Adrian Peterson in the backfield or a true number #1 WR. He would end up on his back like Romo. I wish Kitna would've stayed around I liked him he won some games with the Cowboys.
