I want to see one more game with Weeden. I just get over at how terrible Scott Linehan was on Sunday. Weeden deserves at least one more shot. If he's no good then give me Cassel

A loss against NO and it time to start following 2016 draft. I don't know if Dallas has the luxury of giving Weeden another week. He isn't the only problem. Crawford (DT) was horrible and so was half OL. The outside WRs were nothing more than shadows in that game. Here is what I would do:

QB- Cassel, Weeden, Moore
RB - Randle, Michaels, Dunbar
WR -Williams, Escobar, Beasley & Butler
TE - Witten, Hannah

Do you have trust in Cassel or Moore?

I don't trust any of them.

I would take a chance with Cassel though.

He has actually won games.

Look at it this way... If you don't let Cassel play and we drop two straight then.......

I feel the same way but Cassel's last 2 starts were uglier than Weeden's start against AZ last season. If the Cowboys do decide to start Cassel they better not start him vs NE because his start against them last season would rival any of Weeden's worst games in Cleveland. Cassel only completed 52.8% of his passes and tossed 4 int's and had a passer rating of 39.1.

This is exactly why we HAVE to play Weeden this week. I just dont see Cassel having a good enough grasp of the play book.
QB: Weeden, Moore
RB: Randle, Michaels, DMC
WR: Dunbar, Beasley, Williams and Butler
TE: Witten, Escobar, Hanna

Bench Clutts and Cassel

Now if Cassel does have a GREAT grasp of the playbook then bench Moore and have Cassel backup.

Linehan must have a better game plan for Weedens STRONG arm. And MUST be willing to make in game adjustments.

A lot of QB's can drive a bus if it's a top of the line luxury edition Cassel went 11-5 guiding a bus like that back in 08. Hard for any backup QB to keep a bus on the road that has a couple of flat tires at RB, a loose fender as your lead WR and several missing parts.

We're definitely in a bad spot but it could be worse at least we're 2-1 leading the division. Had the Cowboys dropped the opener to the Giants it would be even more dicey right now.
