too early to tell, IMO.

No Sean Lee, Williams my emerge. Hardy and McClain in the future mix.

BUT....for the last 20 years it's been the fans. Period.

I have posted many times concering my opinion regarding the original triplets.

Troy was the voice/leader.
Emmitt was the heart.
Irvin was the passion.

Curious as to what others think about this currrent team?

Witten is the voice?
I'm not sure I can nail down who has heart like #22 brought to the game.
Dez is the passion.

Just something to discuss as we move closer to the draft.....

On offense? Dez

On defense? OSCAN

your the second one to state that..pretty interesting.

We went from an aw shucks cupcake team of individuals with a sense of entitlement under Wade Phillips to a young, physcial, hardworking unit - a true TEAM under Jason Garrett.

All these guys do is play the game the right way under this coach - hard, physical, and without quitting. Jason Garrett turned around the locker room culture, and Stephen and Will are turning around the front office culture.

We might not win this year...maybe not next year...but we're going to win soon. And when we start winning, we're going to keep winning.

Great points I agree Garrett helped turn this organization around but still think the team needs that heat, voice/leader, and passion from players to complete the circle. Clearly though that starts with Garrett.

I agree I also think this may be the most critical season thus far in Garrett career as a HC. Should Dallas fail many will see last season as nothing more than a fluke however winning once again when some are already thinking Dallas has too much to overcome to challenge for the East let a lone a SB would show Garrett as one of the top coaches in this league.

Garrett might be the brains behind the team but he's not the heart. Heart belongs to the players that sacrifice everything on the field.

For me, Dez is undisputedly let the heart. Romo and Witten have been here a long time and been great for the team, but it wasn't until Dez showed up that being mediocre became unacceptable.

Romo doesn't play a position where being irrationally disgusted by failure does him any good, it has to be someone else.
