Who is the ideal head coach for this team?

Lots of dislike of Wade. And it wouldn't matter if he won the SB tomorrow, the dislike will still be there.

So of the current coaches in the league, including those unemployed, but want to coach, and the latest hot candidates who's your ideal coach to get this team over the hump and why?

Jerry has always liked Mike Holmgren, but I think he's headed to San Fran because Mike Nolan will be out.

I still think Garrett is our next Head Coach.

I like Wade, but I wanted a tougher Defense. Don't know why he can't give it to us here so far.

I've always thought Cowher was overrated. He whines too much (or puts on a whiny face) for my liking.

He is retiring as Seahawks Head Coach. His contract will run out. I doubt he is done.

Holmgren is now where Parcells and Gibbs were at the end of their runs-they're just too old, burned out and having nothing whatsoever left in the tank.

I would have done backflips if we had gotten MH in '03, but now? Nah-no way.

Anyone, CL, that is in the coaching field. I was trying to keep the options open. Like for me, that rules out Jimmy. His era is done. BP's era is done.

I'm asking those who would prefer someone different at the helm.

I'm going to go ahead and go with Wade Phillips as the ideal head coach. He is a current coach in the league who wants to coach, I think.

Wade Phillips is 17-5 with Dallas. If that record is not ideal, it's pretty close to it. I'm simply not ready to jump ship on Wade like so many others are. I think the notion is absurd.
