I keep looking at the games being played and the one thing that sticks out to me me is that Each winning team has a MAN on defense. You know, the guy that won't back down from anyone.
Washington - MArcus Washington, the guy would not stop talking crap and kept making plays.

Carolina - Peppers, he had his pre-game media chat with USI and backed his words up with nothing but plays.

NE- I realyy can go on and on with their men, Harrison, Brushci, McGintest. The list goes on and on with this team. They are loaded with MEN.

Pitt- Here is another team that has real men on their roster. Porter, FArrior, and Palomula.

Indy - Bob Sanders, just watch him play and you'll know what I mean.

Denver - Al Wilson, nuff said!

Seattle - ? This is why I don't know if they can go all the way. I don't think they are tough enough

Chicago - Haven't seen them play much, but their defense is tough. I just don't know who that guy would be. UrLacher, I assume.

How is our man? We need someone to be that beast and I really don't know how has the balls on this team to step up. My vote would be for BJ to assume that role, because I'm sick of waiting on Roy to come out and slap somebody during pre-game. Who is the guy that you think will be that man for us?

Roy Williams is the man right now, and James is coming along as is Ware.

I would guess that Seattle's guy is Lofa Tatupu...

Anthony Henry was kind of looking like that guy for us until he got hurt.

Roy is not the man. He is too nice. I never see him get in anyones face and challenge them. Roy is not the MAN.

Anthony Henry? He barely even talks to his teammates moreless the other team. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a Sean Taylor type guy, but a guy that won't let what happened to Witten vs. Washington go without some type of in the other teams face jab.

I saw Roy get in several faces this year. And I don't think he's very nice on the field.

Outside of the pre-season game with the Texans, I didn't see Roy get into one altercation. He held back Steve Smith when Davis got into it with Davis vs. Car., but that wasn't a face to face, "I'm not backing down" confrontation that our defensive leader needed to do type altercation I'm talking about. Hell even when he stepped on Smith's leg when Smith got thrown out of the game, Roy looked at the ref like he needed some help.

Roy Williams is definitely the man, along with T Newman. Those two guys love the big plays and honestly I think Marcus Spears will be one of those kind of players too.

All I know is that a lot of the defenses in the playoffs have a bunch of guys with tatoos on their arms that spit pi$$ and vinegar.

We are more finesse than dog fight.

Yeah, that was the game. You may be right, I saw a lot of fire from James this year, but our attitude may have to come from somewhere else. Actually, this guy won't be or shouldn't be starting next season, but Davis was sort of confrontational.

I don't thin some of you understand the question. Roy, TNew, and Henry are the men when it comes to players making plays. I'm talking about a MAN. The guy that won't let our defense get punked. MEN fellas, not that you da man talk after a golf shot, but a real MAN, ie:
Bryon Cox
Dick Butkus
Bruschi
HArrison
Charles Haley

A nasty SOB that just looks for a fight on the feild so he can impose his will on the situation. A real MAN!

The MAN can't be diving at people's feet and running behind them to horse collar them. Ware is going to have to be the MAN. I've been screaming about this for the last three years. When you have Dat in the middle for so long your going to be a finesse defense.

Okay, now we are talking. I saw Davis get into some faces, but the sad thing is that he may not even start next year. And I don't think the guys rally around him like the other guys I mentioned. Thats why I voted for BJ.

Tell our players to start taking ROIDS and have Jerry Jones hire Romonowski as "how to be a MAN" consultant next TC.

I'm glad someone else sees it like Ive been seeing it. Don't get me wrong, I love Roy, its just that he isn't the type to look for a chance to defend his teammmates in my opinion. I really think BP is looking for that guy too.

I think that if we can get a big *** s.o.b. in the middle of that LB core, and a big mean nasty DT, that will bring out the other dogs in the other guys.

Ive never been a Romo fan, but there is something to say about the way his defenses always played. You don't need ROIDS either to be a man.

Roy #31, hands down!!! Best SS in the league!

If we get a FS in the offseason this year that we can rely on for coverage, LOOK OUT! If we can blitz Roy without giving up deep coverage, its on like Donkey Kong!

I guess you just hit on my point. Why do we need to get someone from the outside to bring the dog out of an already good defense. It should already be in the locker room. I don't want him, but Merriman is a man. I think thats why you see him in the pro-bowl, because he lokks to hit anything.
