All of them. They all have agenda's they push and the masses are too dumb to know they're getting duped. That's why you have ignorant posters here saying Romo sucks. They heard it on ESPN.

Then you have the misinformed and uninformed fans. They don't watch the news or sports news, don't read articles. Just catch bits and pieces, or hear something at the water cooler or coffee machine at work. then form their own stupid opinions, or repeat it. They probably barely pay attention to the games.
so when hearing Smith bash Romo, they believe it's true. Then when you try to inform them, they scoff, because you are not the mediot person saying it.

Mickey Spagnola.......

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say this. Actually I'm surprised it took this long.
I would not put Mickey on this list. He's actually decent. Just because he comes across as a homer to most on this board, does not make him a hack.
He is actually a very good writer. Just that he stays positive, which most people on this board can't stand.

All of them! The mediots are responsible for creating the stupid and low information fan. However, it has gotten worse with the TMzation of sports in general and football specifically.

I don't have a problem with any of them. They write and I read . If I don't like the article I quit reading it. I don't make them out to be the bad guys like many fans do. I have never been one of the fans that likes playing the victim . By that comment, I mean that I have never thought that the media treats the Cowboys any different than they deserve to be treated. Winning would change the tone of most of these articles and the change would happen in a hurry.

Yes and no. The Cowboys are an ESPN obsession because they drive ratings so they absolutely are treated differently in the amount of coverage they receive, however, you are right in that winning turns the narrative.

I think we're still probably a year away.

I can understand the obsession with the Cowboys. They are the most popular team in the NFL. They are also the most hated. They embrace the "America 's Team" label and they have an owner that goes out of his way to keep the team in the headlines. He has built the biggest and best stadium in the world. I think much of the media bashing comes from the Cowboy's lack of success on the field. If Jerry is going to insist on promoting the team in this manner, the winning has to come along with it. It is easy to poke fun of this situation and ESPN does their part in it. I can't blame the media for the negative articles they print. Dallas has give them an easy target. Winning would stop it all. It would be hard for the media to write these negative articles about a 12-4 team. They would look foolish to write a negative article about a team that is proving them wrong each week.
