Randy White, Too Tall Jones, Charlie Waters, Dorsett, and Staubach....Those guys I remember the most from my childhood. In the modern era, it's Aikman and a distant 2. Loved his competitiveness and his command of our team. Honorable mention would include Roy Williams, Marion Barber, and Witten.

Wow. What makes you say he was a "prick in person"? Every other account I've ever heard said that he was a great guy and a model teammate.

You're already way, WAY off by calling him a "crappy LB".

To answer the thread: tie between Troy/Emmitt.

Tom Landry. I wish I had met him. Roger Staubach will always be my first hero. I still hope to meet him.

I'd like to know where you heard Dat was a prick. From what I remember it was the opposite. I met him at a Bill Bates/Emmitt Smith football camp when I was a teen. Nice guy. Crappy linebacker? Well for being a shrimp, he played balls to the wall all the time, and because of his size and the effort he played with, made him one of my favorite players. They OP didn't ask for the best Cowboy whoever played.

I know his cousin and he is a complete prick. We were so stuck in talentless teams that it appeared he was a "good" LBr. Hot garbage
