I normally don't like to get ahead but its bye week and I'm bored. And I think we have more than enough sample size. This is really based on the top of my head, I'm sure the cap people will say some of this isn't possible but here goes:

STAY:

Dez
Murray
Leary
Parnell
Melton
Durant
Rolando

GO:
Carr
Carter
Selvie
Spencer
Free
Wilber

Obviously keeping dez and Murray won't be easy but I think jerry finds a way. Would love to add Mo to the go list but I think his contract is guaranteed so he probably sticks another year. Nothing against free but Parnell is younger and will be cheaper. Carr just isn't worh the money and carter is just too inconsistent

Free is much, much better than Parnell.

It is not a coincidence that our pass protection got much better with Parnell out, and the running game was better too.

It's a real head scratcher isn't it BZ. I just don't get it when a Blind Zebra can see it and so many else can't!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you have to try and resign Free and hope another team doesn't throw stupid money at him. He has proven to be a solid team guy in more ways than one. His veteran leadership is needed on the line and he is much better than Parnell. I also think Carter can be had for cheap. So, keep him. He's played in 4 different defensive schemes in 4 years.

Is this what you want? or what you think the team will do? I don't see the team letting Free, Carter, and Selvie going.

The only sense I can make for this post is to start a fight, peace out

I was very pro Garrett. Changed my screen name because he became head coach.

He has to show me, well doesn't have to, but for the purpose of this post he does.

Show me, show us, show the world that he can outcoach when it comes down to it. That game, you know that game that is for all the marbles. Don't give advantage to other side.

You can guarantee that Dez, Murray, free and McClain will be resigned. Murray probably gets the franchise tag.

As for those other guys I hope they stay but I'd imagine several will leave. It will all depend on money with Melton. If he keeps playing like this he'll probably get a big deal elsewhere.

The only guys I'd be ok with leaving would be Carr (way overpaid), carter (since lee will be back) and Wilber (hasnt shown much).

Dez will be a Cowboy
Murray i dont think will be
Leary will get tendered
Parnell cant handle a blitz let him walk
Melton a couple weeks i said let him walk but how can you the way he's playing. Finally healthy, restructure and keep him.
Durant he suprised, but with Lee coming back and Hitchens Durant isnt needed.
Rolando resign
Carr too expensive to cut still. Maybe a june cut
Carter same as durant gone
Selvie would rather use the money to resign spencer and go with Spencer and Gardner.
Free must resign
Wilber already gone

Keep Dez, Leary, Melton, Rolando, Free, Spencer, maybe Carr

Why does anyone think the team will franchise Dez? It would destroy the relationship and screw dez's head up bad. Murray is a much more likely franchise target. Dez will sign a contract after the season and it will be enormous. Jerry is absolutely in love with him.

We could draft a guy as well...

Keep the youth movement going.

I have a relatively high amount of confidence that even a late round draft pick can do better than Carr, Spencer and Wilber from what I have seen so far. I think the only thing that saved Carr's roster spot this year was his cap-killing salary. Well, that and Claiborne playing like garbage. Wilber is a player who just doesn't have a natural position. Stuck between not being a good-enough LB or a good-enough DE. Spencer is just done. Time to retire.

The rest of the players on the list I would like to return.
