seriously folks, did our coaches develop this guy? did he come from Miss St this polished? Someone on our team has done some serious work with him, its unbelivable that a rookie can come in here and look like this. your thoughts
This team may have stumbled on a late round jem. I'm saying a Brady type of find but by saying Brady I mean a starter who was better than all the qbs drafted before him. By stumbled I mean the team clearly wanted lynch and cook and settled with Dak. This kid is impressive and it looks like he is the real deal.

What do the following great QBs all have in common?
Joe Montana (Joe Cool)
Peyton Manning
John Elway
Brett Farve
Johnny Unitas
Terry Bradshaw
Troy Aikman
Dan Marino
They all have the same special Brain Type ESTP/FEIR that makes them great football QBs. They have the ability to process information, see the field and deliver the ball under pressure better than other Brain type. They were all poised leaders of their teams. See the below link that I wrote to the zone after Dak was drafted and why I think he has the ESTP/FIER Brain type.

I was so excited when they picked Dak. I tweeted with Broaddus, Brugler and the draft show before the draft and told them I thought Dak had the special ESTP brain type. I followed Brain types for years and I've read a few books on it by Niednagel. Dak was the only QB of this year class that looked like an ESTP to me.

Another interesting article that talks about Payton Manning/Ryan Leaf and their brain types

Well you called it, kudos to you ! why dont teams test potential qb's to see what brain type they have?

We have to give credit to Wilson, Linehan and Garrett. I've believed Garrett and Wilson have deserved a lot of credit for developing Romo since they took over in 2007.

You need talent to develop and this is really the most talented QB we've drafted since Wilson and Garrett have been here.

Most of all I credit Romo's limited practice time with the 1st team allowing Dak the additional reps. Most backups are not privy to this much action with the starters. And Dak must be credited for making the most of his opportunity thus far. He appears poised and under control. But he is what 23, very mature and the advantage of having a 5 year senior out of college.

I'm sure Romo has provided some guidance in the offensive system as well. Romo last year while on the sidelines looked as much the OC as Linehan.

Dandy, you think a one day camp with Jon Gruden is more responsible for his development than the entire Cowboys off-season program? Surely you are being sarcastic.
Well I was, but I didnt know if it was one day or longer, and he did give him some good pointers, like stressing communication.
I think Dak was already good , he is just making the transition to nfl look easy.
I think you have to give him some credit for developing himself

Okay, I agree, but who do we give credit for noticing his talent and pulling the trigger in drafting him? Jerry? I don't think Jerry scouts like Al Davis once did, so do we know who really noticed him?

I don't think many teams give validity to brain types or they don't the benefits that it can provide. There are a few teams, such as the Boston Celtics with Danny Ainge as the GM that are totally reliant on BTs. If Niednagel is able to prove DNA linkage to Brain types, I think it will be used as tool for evaluation much more often.

Everybody deserves credit, maybe Wilson the most since he pushed for Dak. Many like to trash Garrett and Wilson for not developing the understudy QBs they've had in camp but the truth is you can't polish a turd. None of those guys have become decent players for other teams either. Now that they've got some talent to work with I'm looking forward to seeing how the team develops Dak.
