By 5th interception, if not the forth? I'd of bet dollars-to-doughnuts on it.

So glad he's gone.

I think we would have gone conservative after 3 ints. It is hard to say what BP or anyone else would have done all we know is what Wade did.

I think he would have cut him at halftime and signed testaverde.

Like that time he pulled Drew Bledsoe to put in Henson against the Commanders during a dreadful blowout.

Oh, wait....

Or maybe like that time he yanked Testaverde in meaningless games to end the year to put in Henson.

Oh.....wait.....

I love Parcells and I think he made this team mentally tougher as he wanted. I don't think we come back and win that game with Parcells last night though. You need optimism as well as toughness. This team believes in itself a bit more now, whereas Parcells can be so negative sometimes that he actually holds a team back (or some players that don't share that same personality). Under Parcells the teams sometimes played scared. The team wasn't scared trying to come back and it showed and worked.

I don't think he would have benched him at all.

Many times he said the starting QB should sink with the ship in those areas.

I think Bledsoe just reached his breaking point by completely ignoring the play that was called and locking in on Glenn.

However I do agree with the other poster that said he may have started calling a conservative game instead.

In some instances that might have been what the doctor ordered.

I think since Romo and this offense seems to start out slow in games they should just give him some simple dink and dunk passes to get him in good flow and than open it up.

No way he would have pulled Romo.

BUT he would have changed the gameplan and run the ball a lot.

Who cares what Parcells would do........he quit!

He wouldn't have pulled Tony, as others have said.

He would have made Garrett and Romo go more conservative on the game plan, as others have said.

I don't agree with others that we would have lost the game, though. Going conservative, taking what the defense gives, may have been just what was needed last night, and may have prevented a couple of those turnovers. It's what they did on the last drive and it worked pretty well there.

I think it's possible that with Parcells, the game wouldn't have gotten quite so ugly. No way to know for sure, of course.

You didn't pay much attention while Parcells was the coach, did you?

Bill wouldn't have yanked him after five INTs because Romo never would have had a chance to throw five INTs. After the third one, it would have been nothing but handoffs the rest of the game. ;)

Very few did. They were far too busy *****ing about things that weren't actually happening or making some pithy comment about New Jersey to actually pay attention to what the Cowboys were doing. We are seeing the results of this fabricated history now.

When Parcells yanked Bledsoe it was because he knew from that point on he would stick with Romo, which he did.

If you pull Romo in that game and start Brad Johnson, courtesy/honor/unspoken law of the NFL dictates that you'd stick with him for the majority of the season.

And who here wants to see Johnson starting over Romo?!
