Here you go.

Bills over Panthers.

Bears over Bucs.

SD over Washington.

Seattle over NY.

If all of those happen it will be great.

If NY loses we are in first again, then when we beat them we will own the tiebreaker and will only need to match their record to win the East. If Washington loses they are done, if they win they are only 1 game back of us and still have a head to head matchup left. Its gonna get interesting now. :bang2:

We are in GREAT shape regardless of what those other teams do.

I think GREAT is a stretch.

If the Giants win then next week is a MUST WIN if we want to win the division. If we lose that game we can still grab a wildcard but the next week vs. KC becomes a MUST WIN. If we lose Sunday we are going to start needing help to get a wildcard.

Bills over Panthers. Go Bills!!

Bears over Bucs. Don't care.

SD over Washington. Go Chargers!

Seattle over NY I'm indifferent on this one, unlike most.
...

A Seattle loss could be very beneficial, and a NYG win isn't that damaging.

I think anytime you control your own destiny, you're in GREAT shape. I mean, what else could you ask for, c'mon man...

Well I will be routing for NY over Seattle, our homefield advantage throughout the playoffs could rest on that game.

I feel the same and I hope they really beat each other up too. I want homefield advantage if possible. The Gints don't scare me at all...we're gonna sweep them and the deadskins IMO.

I'll go along with that but I'll settle for a Giants & Skins loss. Let's win the division......assures us of a spot in the playoffs.

With all of the people wanting to get a #1 or two seed, you are laying it all on the line. By hoping Tampa and NY wins, should we falter and lose the divison, we will be between a rock and a hard place looking for a wildcard. If you have something good go ahead and take it, but you have to cover your bases. Greed is an ugly monster my friend.

Why wouldnt you root for the Bills over Carolina instead of the Bucs over Bears ?

The Bears D is very good but their offense isnt.
The Bucs are inconsistent on both sides of the ball.
The Panthers have an untested D (For the most part) and a one dimensional offense.
The Bills are irrelevant as far as them getting a playoff spot.

I am rooting for the Bears and Bills.

Only one team will come out of the NFCN. The Bears are fine with me.

The NFCS can become more congested with a Carolina loss and an inconsistent Bucs team.

Which is what ive been saying. We would rather have alot of 9-7/8-8 teams in the NFCS than 2 10-6 teams. All of the NFCS teams need to lose and then the stronger ones need to lose when they go head to head.

The Bucs will lose when Simms starts getting pressured, hopefully the Falcons/Panthers get that division and 1 WC, then Bears, Seahawks, and Cowboys/Giants. I would rather go to the playoffs and play in Carolina/Seattle than Chicago in the first round than lose the East and end up getting snubbed So go Seahawks!

we need the bucs and panthers to lose. those two and falcons are the teams we are going to have to hope will lose atleast two or three more games to help us get a wildcard. i really think in my opinion that we are going to have a hard time winning the division if the giants win tomorrow and we lose to the giants next week.

Key, who do you consider a strong team in the NFCS ?

The "strong teams" I mentioned were in reference to their record. Whoever has the better record needs to lose in head to head play, thus making them both average.

Fair enough.

I was simply wondering if you considered any of them strong teams overall.

Personally I think that the Bucs might be the most dangerous team.

The Falcons D doesnt have the athletes to make it as effective as it could be. If you can score early on the Falcons and get a 10 point lead, you leave it up to Vick to beat you with his arm, which I am still not convinced he can do.

The Panthers secondary is not as good as many people think, and their offense is one dimensional.

The Bucs are playing with Simms but this is his 3rd year under Gruden in the most complex offense in the NFL. Rushing the ball they try to remain true to the ground game, and defensively they arent playing well right now but I wouldnt exactly call them bad.
