Fair enough.

I was simply wondering if you considered any of them strong teams overall.

Personally I think that the Bucs might be the most dangerous team.

The Falcons D doesnt have the athletes to make it as effective as it could be. If you can score early on the Falcons and get a 10 point lead, you leave it up to Vick to beat you with his arm, which I am still not convinced he can do.

The Panthers secondary is not as good as many people think, and their offense is one dimensional.

The Bucs are playing with Simms but this is his 3rd year under Gruden in the most complex offense in the NFL. Rushing the ball they try to remain true to the ground game, and defensively they arent playing well right now but I wouldnt exactly call them bad.

I believe that the Bucs are dangerous as well. They are just one of those teams that makes plays, you know?

Falcons are average, if Shaub was starting they would be good. Panthers may be a surprise.

Too bad we let Denver win get away - we then would have been front runner for a #2 seed.

Now its all about winning division. We are longshot to be a top 2 seed.

Yep worry about the division guys no sense in worrying about home field advantage.

Giants, Skins, and Eagles need to lose.

You make a good point, but with their d-line they will be in it to the end. They can't run but a man named Steve Smith is keeping them alive.

I understand the rationale in rooting for Chicago over Tampa, seeing as someone from the North has to make it and Chicago's record isn't as important. However I'm pulling for Tampa. I've been rooting for them all year because of Galloway - a real class guy who deserves a chance in the playoffs. Obviously when/if they go head to head with the boys I'll always pull for our squad, but here's hoping the Bucs win the South and play the Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game.

Do not let emotions get in the way of our chances of making the playoffs my friend.

Same could be said about Santana or Cooley.

And Jenkins is on IR, again.

Defensively the Panthers looked good, but look at the schedule again.

You may be right, and for both our clubs sake, I hope you are.

As far as I am concerned Dallas could run the table and go 12-4 to not only win the East but get a bye week and maybe even hme field thrughout.

We have Giants after 10 days of rest, then KC, Washington, Carolina and St.Louis. Lets run the table boys.

Well I will be routing for NY over Seattle, our homefield advantage throughout the playoffs could rest on that game.

OMG, a consenting opinion. maybe I'm not insane. Granted, our chances dimmed with the loss to Denver, but if we win out, we can still get HFA, which IMO, is the single most important thing.

Seattle is our nemesis. The NFC South has too many interdivisional games left. They should beat each other-up and no team from that division will get to 12 wins.

Bears have a tough remaining schedule, so they won't make it either. Heck, the Vikings may still slide in there.

Seattle has the most favorable schedule, but if NY, Indy & Philly can help us out (their D, especially run D, has been tough at the Link)...

If Seattle beats NY, then we're dreamin'.

As Cowboy fans we'd want the following to occur:

- BEARS over Bucs (probably the least important of the games for us right now, but it should be a close game and a close choice for us Cowboy fans... BUT because the Bears look like they'll win the North, we want them to hurt anyone else that could be in the running for a Playoff/Wildcard spot - Like the Bucs. What does worry me is that the Bears, AT HOME, can beat anyone in the NFC and IF we somehow end up playing IN Chicago, it could be a VERY difficult game... I'd rather play AT Tampa, AT Seattle, AT New York, AT Carolina, OR AT Atlanta, than AT Chicago!)
- BILLS over the Panthers (no brainer)
- SAN DIEGO over the Skins (another no brainer)
- SEATTLE over the Giants (we would MUCH rather worry about winning the Division than the Conference or a bye - FOR NOW... If we win the Division we are at least guarenteed to get a home game in the first round of the playoffs. If we'd beat Denver, or from here on out, we win the rest of our games, then we MIGHT get a Bye... but I wouldn't count on that - let's MAKE the playoffs and try to get a HOME game FIRST!)

GO COWBOYS!!!
