Cowboys vs Giants - if you don't know, you should probably climb to the top of some structure and fall onto exposed rebar.

Vikings vs Bears - Though the Bears are two games ahead of us for home field advantage, their upcoming schedule has not one team over .500 and the Vikings (at 5-6) still present some risk to us. Go for Da Bears.

Cardinals vs Rams - Though it might hurt their chances in the draft, it would be nice for the bottom-dwelling Cards to knock down another 5-6 team.

49ers vs Saints - Surprisingly enough, the Niners are 5-6. They've beat us in a few NFC Championships and robbed us in '94 on a no-call PI against Irvin (thanks Deion), but it'd be just swell for them to topple the Saints at 7-4 and who we'll be facing shortly.

Falcons vs Commanders - This is a painful one. The Falcons are falling fast and the Skins (even at 4-7) are still causing a few ES fans to proclaim that they are playoff bound (granted, that is only the hardened homers and not the majority). That said, this matchup works both ways as they would have the same record if Commanders were to win. As such, I'll tentatively root for the Skins and immediately shower afterwards.

i'll disagree with you on 2 of these. The vikings pose no threat to dallas in my opinion. if we're worried about them then we're just looking in our rear view mirror. it's unlikely we will catch chicago but we need to be looking at those teams in front of us. I'm rooting for the vikings here.

i look at the atl-wash game the same way. we can take care of atlanta when we play them. i don't want wash. to win at all..they would have to directly contribute to us making the playoffs for me to root for them..

the other games i'm with you on....

another one i'll throw out there is the denver-seattle game tonight.. although it's almost a given that seattle will win their division we need them to lose as much as possible to help give us a better seed in the playoffs..

I dont think the Falcons pose that much of a threat, they are pitiful defensively.

Skins win, they're both 5-7 and in the playoff hunt.

I'm rooting for the Falcons, thank you very much. ;)

ya it was ok to hope they won that last game but ever rooting for the skins again is the devil's work.

The only team I believe gives us problems from here on out is the Saints. They're firing on all cylinders and their head coach knows our offense inside and out so he will have a very nice defensive game plan put together. He knows of the Romo factor since he attempted to persuade JJ to let Romo go to the Saints in the offseason. I think the Saints game will be a nail biter. That's it.

I want to see the skins win just so that they can start losing again.

I want their hopes raised, then their spirits broken.

wrong!
The Bears can still be caught! The Bears are struggling, Grossman is horrible.
We still have a real chance at catching them and getting homefield throughout, especially if we win today and the Bears lose.

You can NEVER root for the Commanders. In fact, if the Commanders are playing against Lucifer himself, you have to root for a tie.

I don't think we need to concern ourselves too much with the Rams or 69ers, Seattle definitely needs to finish at least a game behind us so we can get a first round bye and homefield.

Even if the Bears lose today, they'd still have to lose 2 more for the Cowboys to get homefield.
Of course, I do believe that the Bears can lose to any team in the NFL.

I was ok with people wanting the skins to win last week in order to help us get a lead over the Panthers.

However NOT again...no No NO NO

No more wanting the skins to win.

Now we also need the vikings to win, they are not much of a threat and we can get all the help we can use with the bears/playoff situation.

Rooting for the skins to win is a very difficult thing for me to do. It's a down right sacrilege.

Good afternoon BP.

homefield adv was probably just a pipedream anyway, but Brad Johnson probably just sealed it for the Bears

he is having a pathetic game and just threw an awful pick for a TD

Vikes D was playing good
