I think it's fair to say that we have not been able to put up back to back winning seasons since Garrett took over. I don't see Garrett as the type to step up and say "it's on me", I don't see Jerry blaming Garrett. So, who will be the sacrificial lamb?? If this continues, will Garrett take the play calling duties from Linehan, will Rod be sent packing, or will Jerry ask Garrett to fly home with him after the next road loss? I don't see any of these happening, but if I had to put money on it, I would bet Rod is shown the door. At least, that's what I would do.
Being a coach for so long, I hate to see coaches fired, but something's gotta get there attention.

Thoughts?

Garrett is Jerry's boy so he has another layer of protection. However, if the Cowboys should not make the playoffs it would only mildly shock me to see Garrett finally get what he has long deserved...the boot. Otherwise, another playoff failure, and it will be round up the usual suspects and fire, most certainly. Marinelli and maybe Linehan too. I mean someone has to pay and its never the politician.

Sooner than later that Daddy has to come to his senses, by spanking and getting rid of the boy.

There's a GM that needs some blame guys.
The collection of talent on the D side, for the past many years, has been pitiful.

There are plenty of sacrificial lambs in the pasture before we get to the sacred cow in the barn if you know what I mean.

No playoffs and either Marinelli or Linehan gets the boot.............not like we have not seen this before, how many coordinators has Garrett had over the last 8 seasons?

I use to think continuity in leadership verses firing everyone and startring over was more advantageous...but i watched Jeff Fisher for millions of years with the Rams and they were no good..and then this year they cleaned house and started over and the Rams are number one scoring team in NFL...but with cowboys...Jerry last lap of life....and he is worth north of 4 billion from 120 or 160 miillion in 1988...so I dont think Jerry sees any problem...so nothing will happen

If you were living Jerry's life, would you see a problem?

I'm not saying Garrett will step down, I think he needs to come out and take responsibility. If his players and coaches respect him, they will hate to see their leader taking fault for their actions, it would spur them to get their act in gear. I do think it's too early, but if we are at or below .500 after 8 - 10 games, something may need to happen.
I like and understand this statement Ranching. Let's see.
