If he falls into the 2nd round, we'll trade up for Hakeem Nicks. If he doesn't we will focus on one of these players.

Brian Robiskie
Rashad Johnson
Louis Delmas
Duke Robinson

My money will be on Robiskie.

+1 I agree

Let me tell you, I am one of the rare few who knows they even have a football team. Before Tate got hurt he was a TD waiting to happen. Kind of like Felix. Hicks came out of nowhere after tate got hurt and started to get the majority of passes.

If I had to choose one - Tate. Hes the safer pick even with the injury.

Hicks is too raw. If he stayed he would possibly be the top WR next year. Hicks benefited from the ESPN highlights with the big bowl game and a couple circus catches. He saw the potential and jumped. I think he is striking while the iron is hot b/c he was on nobody's draft board week 1. **** on the heels also.

Tate could run it from the backfield and score. Hicks couldn't do that. Tate if healthy is a beast returner.
First of all, it's Nicks, not Hicks.

Speaking as someone that graduated from UNC recently and follows the team pretty intensely, I couldn't disagree more.

Nicks was the number one option the entire time he was at UNC. If anyone "came out of nowhere" it was Tate. He was undeniably amazing this year before he got hurt, but that was the first time in his career that he was consistently able to put it all together.

And Nicks was certainly on the NFL's radar coming into this year. Maybe not as a potential first rounder, but it is easy to see why he is there now after the year he had.

THIS IS THE ONLY GAME YOU REMEMBER MY FRIEND

MEINEKE CAR CARE BOWL 8 217 3 TDS

I AM HAPPY WITH EITHER I JUST THINK TATE CAN HELP US RIGHT NOW. AND We don't need a WR in 2nd round. We have more pressing needs! Another reason I would rather have Tate.

But now he is 1st round material? I am a Heel fan and wish them the best, but Nicks has bust potential written all over him in the NFL.

No, from last year alone his games against Miami, Notre Dame, and especially Boston College stand out.

Yes, with his great hands, solid route-running ability, and superior instincts, he is first round material. While I like Tate a lot, he is nowhere near the pure receiver that Nicks is.

And I'd be more worried about the guy that couldn't stay away from the sticky icky icky in the weeks before the combine (knowing he would be tested) being a bust than Nicks. JMO.

I'll say Patrick Chung in the 2nd and Derrick Williams in the 3rd, we may have to move up to get him though.

I chose Williams in the 2nd and a Safety (Alabama Safety can't remember his name) in the 3rd, but I like your choice better. Can I piggy back on your choice? :laugh1:

He would add a awesome demension to this offense.

If we're truly spreading the ball out next year he would be awesome for us.

2nd round - Delmas if we trade up... But i can see us staying pat or even trading down a bit and taking Rashad Johnson from Alabama.

3rd round - offensive lineman of some kind. maybe a receiver such as massaquoi

3rd round - Jasper brinkley or mcrath from souther mississippi

Kudos to you. You are able to spread the message about this guy w/out getting stoned for it. That takes talent. :D
