That's bull. We have opened on the road six out of the last seven years and for the last two two straight cross country road games. We need to open at home and close the season at home. We have finished on the road the last three years. Jerry needs to get the NFL to stop screwing us and it has nothing to do with Thanksgiving. Also we need a real bye week, not week three or four like they always give us.

we get 8 at home and 8 on the road really makes no differance. Heck why not get a cold weather team in Sept as opposed to Dec?

On the road at KC. Won't be Wash, because they don't know if RGIII will be ready for opening week so I don't see them getting a prime time game to start the year.

SNF should be Baltimore vs Denver since Baltimore can't open on Thursday, have to give them a prime time game.

I agree but I think this might be better for MNF. Especially with Ray Lewis being a part of ESPN.

The issue I see is that if they open up week 1 on the road in prime time, they will have to play week 2 prime time also for their ceremony.

yeah but i don't think youre taking ratings/commericals into consideration. IIRC the MNF against the giants last year yielded the highest number of viewers or something like that
