As much as it pains me to leave off my all-time favorite Cowboy (Emmitt), this has to be the winner.

Well since I'm only 18 I'd like to see the triplets and Woodson just out of a love for my generation. But Landry, Staubach, Emmitt, and Tex would be perfect.

This is the Cowboys here. Our Mt. Rushmore needs to be bigger than a measly 4 spots! We'll call it the Rushmore at Arlington.

1. Tex Schramm
2. Tom Landry
3. Bob Lilly
4. Roger Staubach
5. Emmitt Smith

The Anti-Rushmores ;)

1. Larry Bethea
2. Thomas Henderson
3. Lance Rentzell
4. Duane Thomas

I'm sure someone with more time and a better sense of irony can make a better list ;)

I think you HAVE to include one member of the 90's team that won three Super Bowls. And I think Emmitt is the obvious choice there.

You could give it to Aikman, but to quote Buggin Out in Do the Right Thing: "How come there's no brothers up on the wall?" :p:

I actually think its a great creative question.

With all due respect, and that is A LOT of respect that is due, you can't have Landry, Tex, Murchison, and Lilly or other variations that don't acknowledge the Cowboys of the 90's. 3 of our 5 SB wins came from that era and is a team always considered when talking dynastys.

Its almost impossible to limit it to 4.

But make mine...

Landry, Staubach, Emmitt and... Jerry!

I wonder if Jerry could talk to the architects about incorporating the Cowboy
Mt. Rushmore into the design of the new stadium.

Why not the real Mt rushmore does not acknowledge other great presidents. :laugh1: I made my choice because they were so called the founding fathers of the Dallas Cowboys
