Don't think the boys need to ADD a young QB here so much as they need to go out and get a VET backup, but if they absolutely WERE going to take a day 2 QB I'd like either Omar Jacobs or DJ Shockley. I think both of these guys are going to end up being able to start games competently in the NFL in 2 or 3 seasons, and I like the tools that both of them have. Omar looks to be fairly smart and have a pretty good arm, and DJ is quick, has a crazy strong arm, and doesnt make bad decisions (24 TD passes and 5 ints) despite only starting one season with a WR corps with below-average hands.
I like Reggie McNeal's toolset as well, but he started for what...3 years in college and never got any better? That concerns me.
