both guards and the top 3 tackles are gone. The top 3 DT's are gone also. Kenny V also went right before our pick.
Nobody wants your 18th pick so you cannot trade out Just go with it jeez lol

who would you pick? *out of the selections below Lets just say somehow these are the best left on the board at 18 and we cannot find a trade partner, who would you pick and why?

DT Sylvester Williams
DE Bjoern Werner
DE Ezekiel Ansah
DE Jarvis Jones
OT Fluker
safety elam
WR austin

Austin would be my selection because Ansah and Jones scare me to death to draft early. Fluker isn't worth the 18th pick and the same for Elam, I would take Werner in a trade down.

Ziggy Ansah fairly easily for me. Not only is he a freakish specimen for the position, but by all accounts he's self driven and wants to be great. Hard to bet against prospects like that, especially since he'd be under the tuteledge of Rod Marinelli.

We would also be an ideal situation for him to come into, let him just rush the passer as a rookie while he continues to fine-tune his game and develop behind Spencer.

Take Austin and don't look back. He's a difference maker. Oh, and get on the phone with Tyson Clabo's agent immediately, LOL!

Ansah

The guy scares me, but given that list, I'm swinging for the fence

I'd have it down to Werner, Ansah, and Austin. I'd probably go Ansah. No bad choice in the three to me though.

Ansah and run. I don't think he's worth a top 10 pick but at 18?

Or maybe since he's high-upside but also high-risk we can pick him for another team and deal him and grab some more picks from them.

I'd take Tavon Austin from that group.

Ansah has Vernon Gholston written all over him. Just because he can dominate Justin Pugh doesn't make him an elite pass rusher. He just hasn't demonstrated enough productivity for long enough at a high enough level to justify a first round pick. I think he has a huge bust factor and I don't want a bust.

Austin's floor is that he is a great returner and slot WR who you can motion into the backfield a few times a game to surprise the defense. He is going to be a good player and like players with high floors like him.

Slot WRs with high football intelligence and RAC is where the game is going and he can be the new and improved Wes Welker.

that list? Zeke, with an honorable mention to williams

Ziggy. And he might be my pick if he's there at with cooper, Warmack, etc.

Kid reminds me a lot of Alson Smith.

Ansah won't be there at 18 to select.Austin most likely won't either.

Probably not, but every draft has its level of unpredictability, and this one moreso than most.

Play along or move along.

I'd have a hard time passing on Austin, but I'd go with Williams.
