wow you're right I totally forgot! made the edit
I wonder if they would consider moving up for him if he did fall.
I think best value is likely to be one of the DTs. Madabuike and Blacklock would be my preference probably.
I don't know if they met with Blacklock but he looks like a beast in pass rush.
For me it's
Then a bunch of guys like YGM, Diggs, Fulton, Jaylon Johnson, Winfield, Dugger, Uche, few others
This one makes too much sense. High character guy, great production, the Boise connection.
He was in a two point stance a lot at Boise and dropped into coverage a lot......but looked pretty sluggish in space. Needs to just be a rusher here.
Epenesa, Diggs, McKinney, Delpit
J.Johnson, Baun, J.Jones, Cushenberry
Fulton, Weaver, Blacklock, Okawara
Diggs at 51 would make a lot of sense, do Delpit or Mckinney fall in this range? At 17 I wasn't a fan, but 2nd round these guys would have great value and I am a huge Elliott fan I would love to see him there also.
Add Fulton, Baun and Terrell Lewis, Okwara and Gross Matos.
Lewis qualifies as Jerry's annual boom or bust medical risk in 2nd round.
The real question is are any of these guys worth moving up for and if so how far would you be willing to go
I don't think we were considering any of them at Round 1 at any stage.
I was just adding guys who could be in play at 51.
I could go on all day.
There's not a lot of players I'd be happy with at 51 on the offensive side of the ball; there's players worth the selection, but positional need would make them too much of a luxury pick.
There's a good chance for a good edge rusher at 51. Yetur Gross-Matos, A.J. Epenesa, Curtis Weaver would all be wins. Jonathan Greenard is my pet cat. Terrell Lewis would be fine. I do not want Zack Baun or Joshe Uche.
50/50 split for disappointment at DT. I like Neville Gallimore, Ross Blacklock, & Jordan Elliott. Raekwon Davis or Justin Madubuike would be underwhelming for me. I do not want Marlon Davidson.
Linebacker is pretty meh.
At corner, I'm praying like hell Diggs or Fulton falls, otherwise I'm doomed for disappointment. There isn't a worse case scenario for me than Jaylon Johnson being the pick.
I'd be happy with safety as long as it wasn't Terrell Burgess or Jeremy Chinn.
Move up for Delpit or McKinney
I think we will do some trades down
19 picks to go and I’d be very happy with 11 players...hopefully a run on WR, RB, and OT happens before us, which I think is extremely likely.
I'm thinking Fulton but I would be happy with Johnson also.
Right now, this pass defense is trash. Lost best corner and sack leader.
no way I give up my 3rd, like they did when they traded up for D-Law.
