we'll play the Tennessee Titans opening day, book it! Sunday Night Football.

Me? I would like the play the Skins at Washington, get that game over with before all the impending injuries set in...we'll probably get out with a W

I'm thinking we'll play the Texans.

hmm I don't think they'll make us play the Texans twice opening day, you know? We'll play the Texans, Titans, and Colts early in the year, and close the year up with a game vs. the Jags...

I can concur with those of you that want a tough away game. Get to see where you are with respect to a playoff caliber team on their turf early in the season, if you win, its a HUGE win, if you lose, then its something with which to build.

Our tough away games are @Dallas, NY, Eagles, Tampa, and Indy

I'd like to have either of those games. I don't want a home game against a playoff team because a win can make it seem like your team is better then what it really is:

Case in point: Washington 35 Dallas 16 first game of 1993 season, home opener for the Skins...we all know which direction the two teams went after that game.

RiggoForever, I gotta hand it to ya. You are one of the few Commanders fans that I can actually stand. It's nice having you at this forum as another point of view and not the homerific ideals that many Commanders fans seem to possess...

Personnaly, I would like the eagirls AWAY. Make it 3 in a row, 2 in a row at their house!

But, honestly I would not be surprised if we get Indy as the opening game(the VERY first game of the year) on Thursday night. I am sure that will be NBC's 1st NFL game to be televised and will request a game that will give them BIG ratings. And who better than America's Team. I say that(the opening, Thursday, game of the season) since they have "taken" the spot vacated by ABC for the prime time game of the week. You know?

I can see it now, the 'Boys winning with a last second feild goal kicked by the Colt's former kicker Vanderjagt(sp?).

Hey. When does the official schedule come out?

I think it comes out in April, around the same time as the draft. On a side note with the Thanksgiving game being Skins/Cowboys...I doubt there will be another nationally televised game involving the two teams...but I could be wrong. Wouldn't surprise me to see Indy and Dallas play an opener.

Whens the last time Dallas has faced an NFC East team in the opener? Its been since 1999 for the Commanders, when we lost in OT to Rocket Ismail after blowing a 21 point lead

At this point, I'd take the Saints at home. Parcells can give his pupil (Sean Payton) a lesson in humility.

The sooner we can erase that 0-1 record vs. the Texans the better.

A group of us are planning to attend that game. I forgot it owuld be in their new stadium.

That is actually a pretty good guess. You know the stadium would be full. They'll want that for an opener.

Hopefully a pro-Dallas crowd that day. They usually are. I'm gonna miss that old Sun Devil blast furnace. Er, maybe not.

Doesn't Arizona have like the worst home attendance in the league?

It will be pro Dallas.

I've seen a lot of games at Scum Devil stadium, Most of them real good. We've owned the Cardinals

I still want my money back from 2002, the 9-6 game though. The ride home was almost as bad as the game.

No idea, but it wouldn't shock me. I've lived here for 18 years this June. I probably know 4 Cardinals fans who actually follow the team.

I know more Bears fans in this state than Cardinals fans.
