Alright, here's my challenge, its not who you want but who are the Cowboys gonna pick. I'm giving you mine, its Ginn if he drops a few notches, one of the last mocks had him at 16 but hes hurt couldn't run very fast, somebody's going to be right, who is it?????????

If we stay at #22, which is not a given, I still think Dwayne Jarrett is the guy. If he is gone then Meachem or Bowe.

I really don't believe that Ginn is on our radar at #22. He is not a starting NFL WR prospect and would be a situational player: STs and 3rd WR, which is not what you spend a 1st round pick on IMO. To my knowledge there have been no reports of the Cowboys showing any interest in Ginn at all, while the other 3 each have had at least one report that we were interested.

Jarrett, Meachem, and Bowe are all starter material but IMO Jarrett is the most ready to step in and play (despite what Keyshawn said). I also believe that Glenn will play a few more years for us while Owens is gone after this season. Jarrett would make the best compliment across from Glenn although either Meachem or Bowe could fill that role as well with their size but not quite as well. Jarrett has played opposite a Glenn-clone in Steve Smith for a couple of years now at USC and is a good route runner.

I would not be disappointed at all if we took Meachem or Bowe but I would be shocked if we took Ginn.

OG Justin Blalock is another guy I think we might be targeting if we can trade down a few spots.

if he's Available Ted Ginn. He's the best offensive playmaker in the draft. Garrett will find a way to get him 10 touches a game. If not the best DB out there Glenn isn't getting any younger. Henry isn't getting any faster. Reeves and Jones ain't getting any better and Newman will be asking for big money.

 What did Keyshawn say

I saw a quote where he said Jarrett wasn't ready for the NFL. I can only assume he meant from a maturity viewpoint because his game isn't a problem. The only trouble he got into was accepting free rent from Matt Leinart's father. Other than that I haven't seen a lot of immaturity from him but Jarrett is pretty young though (won't turn 21 til September) so that's why I think it was maturity that Keyshawn was talking about.

Trade out of the first, the WR class is solid - lots of depth, not much seperating guys after Johnson and Ginn.

Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee

I think most scouts have Meachem rated as the second WR, which means he won't be there when we pick IMO. Bowe has a better chance of making it to #22, but we don't need a young WR with Crayton backing up Owens and Glenn.

However, we do need a young CB to backup Newman and Henry. Glenn is too old and I don't trust Reeves or Jones on the outside.

Pretty simple logic actually....the urgency for WR makes no sense to me.

Scouts are across the board on the 2nd WR. I've seen Meachem, Jarrett, Bowe and Ginn 2nd, and each of those guys 3rd, 4th and 5th too.

Crayton has a 1 year deal, Glenn is 34, Owens is 33. We need WR desperately.

Pretty simple actually.
