Our defense is horrendous and injury riddled. We all KNOW they are bad and it has been beaten to death.

Moving on to the offense, what is their excuse? We are almost 100% healthy on offense, we have a top 5 WR, decent #2 and 3 WR's, hall of fame TE, solid RB who can also catch the ball, etc. We were running the ball just fine last night, you would think that would majorly help the passing game/ set up play action pass but we just go nowhere. Our offense has looked bad since the Denver game for the most part. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Jerry has really set this team up for failure in so many ways it's not even funny. It feels like we could be a decade away from truly rebuilding. I fear that the fire will be stolen from the young players by the veterans who are just used to losing around here.

Offense, Defense, Special Teams, Coaching, Management...all seem to find ways to contribute to the team being average every year. This year has been no exception to the futility which is the Dallas Cowboys. And as long as Jerruh is making money, he does not care. He will say the right things (salesman) but in his heart he doesn't care or he would have changed things a long time ago.

The team has been losing for so long that it is now a corporate culture. The entire organization will talk about winning, but in their hearts they expect to continue losing. Just like fans expect that when December rolls around, the team will find a way to lose just enough to miss the playoffs.

Aside from a couple of players on offense, this team needs to be blown up, including the coaching staff. I would include the grand poobah but that's not gonna happen. Maybe waterboard Jerry into hiring a real GM and coaching staff with the promise to stay out of the way---and place his mini--me, Stevie boy, in charge of the Cowboys cheerleaders.

Sure there would be a nuclear winter before the actual winning takes place, but at least there is hope, which is more than I can say now.

How can you whine about the offense when the defense allowed 45 points, couldn't stop any drive and kept our offense off the field? Ridiculous.

Let's start with a few of your assertions:

Dez: No way is he a top 5 WR. Barely top 10.
#2 and #3: I guess we are talking about Miles Austin or Terence Williams here. Throw in Beasly. They aren't NFL caliber wide receivers. Austin is done and hasn't done anything but collect a paycheck in 3 years. Williams is still developing, but has terrible hands and can't run routes.
TE: Jason Witten is relegated to running 5 yard out routes. He can't do much else.
RB: Murray is good, but often injured.
OL: Did anyone else have flashbacks to last year in Washington? They brought the house and even with max protection, they couldn't hold up.

That doesn't mean the offense is good.

The Chicago defense gave up more than 40 to the freaking Rams and Commanders, and Dallas managed a measly 14 until garbage time.

Every game is different. Duh. You can't say this team did this so we should've done this. That's a very naive conclusion.

They were running the ball really well and then toward the end of the half and through most of the 3rd quarter it seems like they just completely went away from the run. I can't remember how long but it seems like Murray was at 13 carries for 99 yards FOREVER before they finally gave him another carry.

Saying the Bears defense sucks, because of what they did against two crummy offenses while missing like 6 starters including 3 pro bowlers, and then saying our offense is crappy b/c it did crappy against that defense is not naive at all.
