The Cowboys can pick up any player they want off waivers they have the same shot at every player as every other team. We have the same shot as the teams that cut at noon, we have the same shot as teams that cut yesterday

and why would we claim any player off waivers that we just waived?

The 24 hour waiver time is put on the player.... not the team. The player has to go through waivers, the team isn't going through them. The Cowboys can make a claim to anybody they want right now. Once the player clears waivers(isn't claimed) then he can be put on a practice squad.

And to answer the question.

I think George will make another team, and possibly Bartel and Lattimore.

I don't think we cut anyone who will be signed to a team's 53 man roster. As a matter of fact, I think we kept more OL and CBs than we will actually end up with because we want to trade someone that another team was hoping would be released.

Joe, the only way a team can claim a player off the waiver wire is to put him on the 53 man roster... they can't claim him to sign him to their practice squad...

Once he clears waivers, then he's free to sign with any team's practice squad...

So, do you think any other team likes the players you listed well enough to put them on their active roster?? Frankly, I don't see any likely candidates to be claimed, but I've been surprised before...

Rodney Hannah may be taken to another team's roster, because he really played well against the Vikings and Broncos, and basketball players have had success at TE. Also, our TE depth looked extravagant, and Curtis had the edge of more time here(an extra year, I think). I think we'll get to keep Bartel, Coleman, and Lowber on our PS.
