Just thinking, Cleveland has made moves to put itself in the perfect place to unload Edwards, the Giants have shown interest, should the Cowboys?

Was 2008 a fluke, or the was 2007 a fluke? In either case, Edwards 2007 season was better than any season that Roy has had. Both had extremely poor 2008 seasons, who has the better upside?

Would anyone be interested in trading Roy for Edwards, with Cleveland kicking back a 2010 mid round pick / Robiskie? Cleveland might also be interested in a vet pass rusher as well, since they are going to a 3-4. Ellis is very familiar with playing in a Fairbanks (Parcells/Belichick) 3-4.

Just throwing it out there.

I was thinking we could possibly use Ellis for trade bait, but only when we have a better idea of Spencer (stepping it up) and a better idea on the rookie OLBs.

I'm not sure the coaching staff can make that decision right now. Maybe sometime near the end of pre-season.

I still think we're probably going with what we have at WR.

You think they'd give us Braylon, Robiskie and a mid round pick for Roy?

LOL. You are right, I forgot about Crennel completely. Their D has lacked a pass rush for so long, I blanked out that they were a 3-4 team. :D

No, either the pick or the player, for Roy and maybe Ellis. Who knows, it looks like Cleveland does not have as much leverage. Teams know that they already have Edwards' replacements on their roster.

Just looking at options, since many were high on Robiskie. I just don't want to be stuck w/Roy Williams if he does not pan out. His laid back attitude kind of worries me.

Given that Roy just signed a new 45 million dollar deal last season it's going to be pretty difficult to trade him anywhere.

That said i like Edwards but i think that Roy has more upside as the #1 WR because he won't drop 20 passes or more every year.

BAT,

You should have asked if Hakeem Nicks better, because that is the national, East Coast spin.
