As receivers cut back between two standing bags Tuesday, they were hit in the arms with a pad. Sometimes right after the ball arrived, other times as it did. And some prospects put balls on the ground.
But not Amara Darboh.
At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, the former Michigan star looks like one of the more physical receivers here and had no issue catching the football despite contact as the ball arrived, and once, before it did.
that's sure to please scouts, considering Darboh lacks breakaway speed and will need to be able to catch contested balls to survive in the NFL.
"The bigger guys have to play that bully ball on the perimeter," NFL Network draft analyst Bucky Brooks said, "and he flashed a little of that today."
Prototypical body, good hands and catch radius, quick and an exceptional route runner.....
I'm waiting for the ....but,
Sounds like a solid prospect so why is he expected to last till the 3rd? Is he expected to run a painfully slow 40? I mean like a D'Runnya Wilson slow 40?

Source: Cowboys met with WR prospect Amara Darboh at Senior Bowl
They've reportedly already begun investigating solutions, however, as a source has revealed the team met with Michigan WR Amara Darboh at the 2017 Senior Bowl. The 6-foot-2, 216 pound wideout is currently ranked 12th best in the country by CBS Sports, and is projected to be a third rounder in the NFL Draft.
Darboh finished the 2016 season with a team-high 57 receptions for 862 yards and seven touchdowns. Unlike Williams, Darboh has solid hands and a nice catch radius. His route-running can be exceptional more often than not, and his quickness can put knock even the best defensive backs off their pivot.
Just ask cornerback Desmond King out of Iowa, a consensus top-10 DB heading into the NFL Draft.
