i think mario is the best wr in this draft.

regardless of what is 40 time is the guy has game speed. he has great hands and strength. hes not easily jammed at line and runs smooth routes.

i really hope he gets his act together cause he has major upside. i would love if we drafted him

James Hardy of Indiana because he put up decent stats with a horrible QB, is huge, and can fly. I can at least hope with a good QB like Romo that he'd develop into a good WR.

Still sticking with my belief we're adding a vet WR.

I second that, Hardy all the way.... or Roy Williams.

Where did you get that idea? He was what kept them in most games. Hardy will dissapoint a lot of you guys.

Why do you say that? Serious question, I'm not trying to be argumentative, I assume since your from Indiana you may have seen a lot of his games.

I can't evaluate talent, so I cant say either way. I just got hooked on him after I watched him whip up on Penn State last year. Plus I love his size and basketball background.

What if we drafted Hardy but also picked up Matt Jones if he's released by JAX? Jones is still only 24 and could be training camp comp for Hurd and Austin for the last WR job.

I'd rather have Matt Jones than Miles Austin, that's for darn sure.

I dont like recievers who get shut down one on one whether it be college or NFL. Thats why I wasn't on the Calvin Johnson bandwagon. Malcolm Jenkins from OSU got all up in Mario when they played from what i remember. I'll pass.

I would just wait and draft a big target like Marcus Monk 6-5 215 in the middle rounds. The way I look at it, you're rolling the dice on any receiver you draft anyway. I'm sure Jerry wouldn't mind (being from Arkansas) and he's got a ton of experience...unlike Stanback.

I am on the Purdue Rivals site and the consensus there is that Lewis is who kept them in the games they played, kinda Randal El like, and that Hardy being so tall against short CBs is where his Numbers came from. I will admit he abused King from Penn State. I saw him play in high school also and I just don't think he will do all that well in the NFL. I could be completely wrong though. Stubblefield, a WR from Purdue, set the D-1 record for most receptions all time a few years ago and he isn't on any practice squads today. Numbers are not everything.

Another player to look at in the middle rounds is Marcus Henry 6-4 207 out of Kansas. Now, will Monk or Henry turn out to be another Marques Colston type player...who knows?

All I know, is we won't be giving up a 1st round pick finding out like with Hardy, Sweed or Kelly.

Well why do teams draft in the early rounds anyway then? Might as well trade down and have 20 picks in the last 3 rounds.

I would take Sweed. I do not think that his wrist is going to be a future problem. He is the most talented WR in this class. Size good speed and good hands. People will say his production was down but Texas was having a bad year along with line problems. Sweed could turn out to be a decent WR in the pros.

I still thinking I like Jackson as a uber Wes Welker type on the underneath stuff.

I'd take Sweed. He has good hands, pretty good speed and separation. And he'd be tough in the red zone.

Dmac played wr in highschool:D but if i had to choose 1 it would be manningham. he made big plays and showed up in the clutch consistently. plus combine #s are way overrated
