Why all the Keyshawn/Bledsoe hate? These “writers/experts” need to get over themselves and give credit when it’s due.
From the Sporting News’s George Winkler.
Over the hill? Keyshawn Johnson and Keenan McCardell showed they still had something left in the tank with each scoring two touchdowns in the Cowboys' win over the Chargers. But mark my words, both of these older receivers will prove to be inconsistent over the course of the season. Remember, the Chargers were playing without tight end Antonio Gates, who reported late to camp, so McCardell picked up some of the slack in the red zone. Meanwhile, Johnson's touchdowns were short scores that could easily go to Jason Witten next week.
Skip Bayless: Drew Bledsoe will turn back into a turnover-prone scarecrow.
Scoop Jackson called Keyshawn the “Mirage of the week.”
Go ahead and keep underestimating the Cowboys. When we are celebrating our 6th Super Bowl and again re-crowned “America’s Team” (a title the Patriots are borrowing while we rebuild) the last laugh will be ours.
Go Cowboys!
