Doesn't work that way. 10 year book on him. He ain't surprising anybody. He would need 53 studs to go uninjured for 16+ games to pull off the big one. NFL does not work that way.
Not sure you can authentically make that statement. His growing too.
We'll see I just think things aren't permanent and Garrett has proven to learn and grow.
We're back to this old dog chasing his tail argument.
Anyway tough times.

Yep... its like watching Groundhog Day. We are a bipolar team. Stuck in a bad year, then good year cycle ad nauseum...

And with the Zeke suspension, Garrett has a built in excuse to help him keep his job. “Continuity” blah blah blah
Well the good news is next year should be a good year. ;)

That being said, this offensive staff isn't good enough to win it all unless we have studs everywhere and we beat teams due to talent, not scheme

Been saying this for years. Jerry is a puppet. The reason he is still coach is because Jerry luv's the puppet.

What good/real coach would want to come here and deal with Jerry Jones?

He's growing too? He has been here 10 years. Been a part of 2 playoff wins. This is not an apprenticeship. He was the highest paid offensive coordinator in the HISTORY of the NFL at one point. He really has ZERO skins on the wall. This fascination with him by some...is comical!

Sorry he did get a apprenticeship Thats one of the zoners complaints.
You seem not to view opposing opinions well. Thats not uncommon but it tends to not advance dialog.

That's another problem too. Unless Jerry gives up more control, we won't get a bigger name coach that may want a lot of input on building the team. Not someone who tries to jam a square peg into a round hole.

Jerry will NEVER fire Garrett.

Least we can hope for is if he gets him a cushy job in the organization, and do like a PR resignation.

The reality is Jerry, as a HC, gave Garrett plenty of freedom to do what he wants. He just sucked so bad, Jerry was finally forced to get a new playcaller.

And deep down Jerry realizes this. With his ego, he feels Jason is the best he can do as he gets older. The problem is that nest simply isn’t good enough and hasn’t been going on a decade now. If we win only one game in the next five, a real gm would get rid of him.

For better or worse Parcells came here, then quit after I guess getting tired of Jerry?(T.O.)
Even then, he wasn't the same guy that coached the Giants to a SB.
Parcells didn't fit with the others I mentioned , so I left him off my list. ;)
