Why are so many players under contract trying to come to Dallas?

Oh of course, that goes without saying. I;m a Commanders fan only because the Cowboys rejected my application.

We have to continually weed out the riff raff. :D

Here is a question for you guys. If you could play in the NFL, would you be loyal to the team that drafted you, or bolt as soon as you could to Dallas? I would bolt, or just pray that I got drafted by the Boys.

I think the reasons that people have posted in this thread make a lot sense.

I think another (minor) contributing factor could be the success of Terrell Owens. Guys like Hall, Jones, and (to a lesser extent) Johnson could be thinking that if Owens can overcome his past troubles to be happy and productive in Dallas, they could do it too.

Most smart WRs usually want to go to a team with a top QB which we have in Romo whose the playmaker in our high octagon passing attack. For WRs that means great stats which make for real good contract negotitions. CJohnson wants to come here cause he's just about willing to go anyplace just to get out of Cincy. Since it obvious throughout the NFL that Cowboys shopping for a vet WR to play opposite TO, we are a WR's dream. Besides the weather in Dallas is a lot better then in the Cold, cold North of NE, Green Bay, Buffalo, Cincy, etc. Plus no state tax & a hands-on owner who takes care of his stars.

We have a good, young team, for the most part.

We have a good QB who can get the ball to WRs. We have a defense that is led by Phillips, who is known for being a player's coach and being aggressive (which, defensive players like).

We get a ton of publicity.

And JJ likes to make it rain on the players when it comes contract time.

Sounds good to me, if I was a player>

I have no idea what your talking about. Campo never coached for us. At least that's what I've convinced myself. Don't crush my fantasy world.

I have erase the alleged head coach by the name of Campo from my memory permanently.
