Its easy to say "Get tough" when its not one of our own guys getting in trouble.

Michael Irvin would have been a goner for all the crap he pulled under these new rules.

The next time a high profile Boys player gets in trouble, I want to see how many people are clamoring for a suspension before there has been a conviction.

frankly, Irvin should be suspended if he acted now as he did then. I have no problem with that. I would hate it, but I would support it.

I don't care who it is A Cowboy player or not. Myself I thought it was a big embarrassment to the organization when the player on the 90's team was getting in constant trouble.

There's no doubt in my mind that POS is guilty of Dog Fighting.

The truth is starting to come out and it will get out eventually.

I thought POS was low down scum for giving that girl or girls Herpes.

Dog fighting on top of that...he's below scum now.

Screw him.

By goner do you mean a ban or a year suspension, Irvin was suspended for 4 or 5 games in '96. And several other Cowboys players got suspended at various times as well Leon Lett, Clayton Holmes are a couple who come to mind. So they paid the price, rightfully so.

Should he and have been suspended when he and Eric Williams were ( as it turned out falsely) accused of rape and kidnapping by that nutty broad back in like 97 ?

This is the pantera's box of trouble they're opening up ;)

Oh, my goodness. Is Vick now being accused of beating dead horses? That can't be good for him.
Was one of the horses he sent to the glue named Boxer?

I have seen very few defend any of them. I personally just sick of the whole story. Any small tidbit of information, any little miniscule piece that doesnt avance the story at all, and all the sports shows, especially those on BSPN and BSPN radio spend hours on it all over again. Colin Cowherd is the worst offender.

I do agree with this, it does seem that sports isn't really about sports anymore.

The truth in that case came out pretty quick. Within weeks of the initial accusation. Goodell would have had plenty of time to consider that before he made a ruling. I have not seen Goodell rush to make any ruling as of yet.

Goodell's ruling against Pacman only came after finding out that Pacman failed to report two arrests that occurred nearly a year ago. That was against NFL rules. It didn't matter if he had been tried or not.

He has waited to visit with Tank Johnson and will be waiting on the impending Vick case. He will probably sit down with Vick at some time before ever ruling.

It's quite possible that this is completely false. It's entirely rational to think something is atrocious yet, at the same time, not believe that it should be illegal.

I think eating your own (or another's) poop is disgusting. I think you're a sicko if you do it. But I don't think it should be illegal. Eat poop if you like.

Of course, you're probably going to think I secretly admire poop-eaters now.

But maybe I do....

Me, I could care less about Pac-Man, won't even pay attention to it. Another world, another mentality, I have no concern and that world doesn't want my concern in return. If he can't realize he's a millionaire now and separate the two, my whining about him isn't going to do it. He can ruin his life and I won't blink.

Vick though, that rubs close to home. And to see how many other non-caring animal people are out there defending him, just adds to it. I truly can't believe the lack of moral conscience so many have. The lacking distinction of what is right and wrong. Just a bunch of empy holes of nothingless, who probably see a "gray area" in even child and spousal abuse. You either care or you don't, and it quite frankly pisses me off how many people don't have a caring bone in their body. Or worse, they just speak from their traps because they think what they're saying is "cool". And well, that's just whole other ball of wax that we won't get into- yall know who you are though.
