Listening to sportshows, radio, Pat Macfee etc no one talks about top free agents like JJ Watt who want to win super bowl to end their career dont consider Cowboys as an option.

It is all about Tampa, Chiefs, Buffalo, Rams, Green Bay.

We have Green Bay's coach who built that team.
Running game better than everyone else. Offensive line when healthy best in the league.

JJ Watt kind of a player on defense with Hot Boyz would change everything.

You think this franchise can actually get past the first round of playoffs any time soon? Nope. Will be 7-9 and more 8-8 coming up at least next couple of years. They know better than come to a team who isn't on an upswing in terms of the whole organization.

I will say this,, if a BIG if Jerry lets Dak go they will have to at least sign one top defensive free agent. We would then see just how inept they are.

they wont come here because they know who the gm is and that the cowboys are not a very good front office team and are not likelyto be in the playoffs any time soon

There are still players who play the game to win a ring, not just make a fortune. Those players would do well to go to a team that is what Jerry claims to be every year: all in on winning a Super Bowl.

It's sad some fans are just figuring this out now.

1) Owner
2) Owners son
3) Culture
4) Coaching

You come to Dallas for the pay( over paid ) and entertainment spotlight. You go to those other organizations if you desire winning.

The player who is co-credited with creating that moniker is two teams removed from the Cowboys.
Let us at Cowboys Zone cease with its usage.

Because it’s not about “getting paid “, Watt wants to play for a team that is ready to compete, now. Boys are not that team just like 15-20 other teams.

Top tier free agents don’t want “team friendly”, “vet minimum” or “prove it” contracts which the Cowboys and the fans seem to only want to offer. The team and the fans want bargain deals late in free agency.

For a top tier free agent to turn down an offer to come to the Cowboys they must be offered a deal and a chance to turn them down first.

Clearly not. Dallas isn't going to money-whip talent into coming, so it's the bargain bin or whatever home-grown project filling voids.

JJ Watt was an elite player in this league that's towards the end of his career. He deserves to win and is actively searching for the best team to help get him there. The Cowboys, as we know right now, are still years away. It's simple.

Besides Green Bay and MAYBE the Chiefs, all of the teams mentioned in the OP were laughing stocks until recently.
