'cowboyblue22' - I would not put Dallas in the category of "bottom feeder franchise". Over the last 7 seasons - 4 winning records, 3 division titles resulting in playoff berths. The two losing seasons happened when the starting QB went down - Romo in week 2 in '15, Prescott in week 5 in '20.
3 divisional round playoff losses ---none were blowouts-- one score defecits or less each time. (one game from an NFC Championship appearance).

Playoff losses are playoff losses, "close" means nothing. There are no style points. That we're even using close losses as an attempt to validate performance shows how far this team has fallen.

1960-1995: 31 playoff wins, 8 NFC championships, 5 SB titles.

1996-2020: 4 playoff wins, 0 NFC championships, 0 SB titles.

There's no arguing the decline of this franchise, and the same two guys have presided over all of it from 1996-2020. Players, and their agents, have this information as well.

I'm a HUGE Cowboys fan and have been since the first day they came into the league, but you're only fooling yourself on 3 of your points. The 2016 offensive line was probably the best in the league but the Cowboys don't have that line any more. They have only 40% of that and one of those has been injured every year. Next the Cowboys running game isn't the best in the league any more and lastly calling the 32nd ranked defense the Hot Boys is kind of funny.
