Why can't Cowboys be beast of NFC east again?

As a fan looking at the braintrust there, doesnt it just make you feel confident in our future?

All I think about is the process, glory holes, and secret sauce when I see that pic.

This year who knows regards the DL . I think Red cost us some wins yes but his not going anywhere

If this team was in any other division I don't even think they would compete. The only reason they have a shot this year is because the other teams in the division are so bad. It's hard to tell about the DL since they haven't played much in the pre-season. Their backups look awful and history tells us that injuries and other factors will make them play more than they should. The OL should be good. Then you have the playcalling. I want to see if the calling is better than in past years. Red will be here as long as we are relevant. As soon as the Cowboys tank, he's gone.

No the offense is loaded and the division is weak. That's why they're in it every year. Garrett's playcalling has cost us at least 2 wins a year. I'm not giving Garrett credit for us playing mediocre football in a weak division. We didn't beat one team with a winning record last year. Garrett's the Head Coach. He's responsible for the defense too.

When you have the division handed to you and you are 5-1 against those teams then yes.

Oh, so now it has to be at the time of game.
So if someone beat Seattle on opening day last week (or the 49er the 4th or 5th week of the season) that wouldn't count as beating a winning team.

I guarantee it will be bottom 5 in nearly every meaningful statistic.

I guarantee it won't be in bottom 5 they will be 15-20 range, see like I said it's an assumption and we will know nothing until the real games start

Philly wasn't a different team they had the luxury of playing back up QBS for 7 straight weeks then lost to the first team with their starter Brees (Saints). I'm not scared Philly

Last year took two 4th qtr game-winning drives on the road at Washington and New York to keep it from being a more normal 3-3.

6-0 is possible , but extremely unlikely. Maybe 20-1 odds or worse.
Even 5-1 is probably 10-1 odds against.
That's what makes last year all the more frustrating. Going 5-1 in division and not even winning it is pretty hard to do. Missed opportunity for sure.

Philly won their last 7 of 8 games last year.
New York won 7 of 10.
And, as the OP says,Washington is improved.
Never say never, but I'd bet against 6-0 in a big way (25k maybe for easy money) if it wasn't against my favorite team.

I can play that game..... you said we were closer to 3-3 in the division because of a play or 2. Well I say we were closer to 13-3 if we make a play or two. Detriot, GB, KC, Denver, Philly all was 3 points or less. ..... oh by the way that's with the worst defense in the league.

If the defense improved just a tad then we will win 11 to 14 games this season and I see no reason why Romo can't go undefeated in the division AGAIN

Your looking at 2 and 3 years ago, teams change dramatically in 2-3 years. Romo beat Washington with a bad back and could barely walk. Had he been healthy I'm willing to bet we beat Philly the last game.

The GB game isn't on the players that's on the coach for throwing the ball instead of running the ball which had us that big lead to begin with. Believe what you want is moot at this point

No NFC East team scares me, no team has improved more then the other. Dallas is the best team in that division and when we win it this year you remember me and what I said

Yep -- seeing Philly lose is the next best thing to sex. The refs may very well be reluctant to enter the parking lot in Philly after games.

I think the Skins will be better, but I didn't say they'd be better than us. You seem to somehow think I did though.
They added several parts, have a healthier QB, and have some key returnees from injury. But that doesn't mean they'll be better than Dallas.

We have no defense? I'm sorry I could have swore we had 11 players on the field everytime the defense was on the field. Maybe it was the offense playing defense since we have no defense.
