Hogan and Allen have the ceiling of mediocre backups. That's a waste of a pick in my book. I'd rather take a boom or bust type than a guy I'm pretty certain is never going to be a good starter

I completely disagree. I think they have mediocre backup floors and ceilings just as high as anyone. Allen is physically as gifted as Lynch and Wentz. Hogan is a straight up gamer who has proven himself time after time in big games. They both have significantly better resumes than Wentz.

Based purely on boom or bust potential, there is probably no one in the draft as boom or bust possible than Brissette. Canon for an arm and great mobility, but about as streaky of a passer as it gets. He could figure it out and be the best QB in this class just based on those physical gifts.

I wouldn't even call Cardale Jones boom or bust. I would call him lucky if he's in the league in three years.

Supposedly Allen off a lot of boards due to minimum hand size. Chance he goes undrafted. If so, I'd bring him in no matter who else they draft, sign, etc.

Interesting I hadn't read that. Didn't seem to have any trouble slinging the ball to me. I agree with your comment.

He also had arguably the best performance of and QB at the Senior Bowl, including Wentz and Dak.

You think Allen has as much arm talent as Wentz or Lynch? Yikes

Physically meaning he is as good of an athlete.

I am very interested to see what kinds of numbers Wentz puts up at the combine. I know most of those timed runs don't mean squat for QB's, but a big part of his draw is how good of an athlete he is. It's intriguing to see.

you cant teach accuracy ,If he cant succeed in a simple Meyer offense then i have serious doubts about the NFL.this should be a warning to future College players who should strike the iron when its hot,he would have been a first Rder had he come out last year.

If we don't go qb in the 1st and he's there in the 4th, sure.

Jacoby Brissett looks ok.. His release is slooooooooooooow and he doesn't get rid of the football very quickly.
