CBs are a lot easier to find.

This.

I'm no "draft nick" as many of you are but I've absorbed enough information over the past several months to convince me no CB taken at 28 will have as much impact as the DEs available in the same spot.

Sure there are blue-chip CBs in this draft but they will definitely be gone by the time Dallas picks. The same cannot be said about DEs that may be available. I go DE in round 1 and don't look back.

We had Deion in his prime -- for the most part, years in which our pass rush was average at best. How much of a difference did he make? And he was a guy who was also a deadly returner.

Give me solid corners with a strong front 7 in front of them, rather than 1st round corners with a solid at best front 7.

"If you have perused any mock drafts recently, you have likely seen an interesting trend at the end of the first round.

The Dallas Cowboys have overwhelmingly been tabbed to take Missouri defensive end Charles Harris.

Now, the interesting part is not that they took a defensive end, as that is the biggest need currently permeating Dallas’ roster. The compelling part is that Harris was the defensive end that they were projected to take.

The Missouri defensive end certainly has talent, it’s impossible to deny that, but does his talent warrant the premium pick it would take to get him?

Just like your least-favorite couple’s relationship status, the answer to that question is: it’s complicated.

The question is not just whether Harris has a skill set worthy of the 28th pick in a vacuum, it is how his skill set fits in with the Cowboys and how that translates in comparison with others who could be there at the 28th overall pick."

should have put up the video where he was owned all game by cam robinson. This guy is going to be a bust. Slow off the snap for a RDE and not strong enough to handle the strong side.

lol my mistake i was watching carl lawson. dont think mizzou has gone up against bama since the champ game in 14. i was gonna delete that part of the post but the time to edit expired. still dont think Harris is what this team needs tho. Hes not better than Lawrence or Mayowa. Most of the guys in this draft are SDEs. Guys like Tim Williams and Takk make more sense if theyre wanting a passrusher. But thats what Mayowa is. IMO Dallas would be better off in FA. JPP or Ingram or even Ware make much more sense for Dallas.
