If coaching is not the problem, then this team is in SERIOUS trouble. This means that most of the players have to be replaced.

Some people just don't get it.

Wade Phillips' teams have always failed in January and December. No news here.

Yup...he insists on being soft on his players throughout the year and he has pays for it down the stretch....it's the same story every year with every team he has coached.

We lost to the Ravens because they are a good football team.

We haven't done much in a while, as far as beating good football teams go.

We've beat the 9ers, seahawks, Commanders, and giants recently, while the Giants are one of the best teams in the league, they were without the top two players on their team and didn't play anywhere near what they have been playing lately.

Dallas has the talent to beat anyone in the league, but something is missing because they play like they are middle of the pack.

I'll admit that this was a hard defeat to take but there is still an opportunity to back into the playoffs where anything can happen.

The bottom line is that the offense needs to commit to the running game. Dallas has one of the biggest, baddest o-lines in the game and a back (Choice) who seems capable of getting positive yardage. Commit to the run, wear down the opposing team's defense, set up the play action, and bring in Barber to close out the game once they have a lead.

I'm convinced that if Dallas had the lead going into the 2nd half the outcome would have been different. The defense, even though they collapsed in the end, did what they had to do to win. The offense needs to do the same.

so you think there's a coach who could do a better job with our defense? who?

I don't think Wade Phillips is the problem, nor has he been for the past month. I can't see any defense playing better. In the last 4 weeks, I think Jason Garrett has been the weak link, along with the special teams coach (although of the 5 special team units, it seems the punt team is the only one stinking).

Maybe our gm needs to take a long look at the coaches for special teams and the offense if we don't win in Philly.

For the most part the defense is doing very well but Wade was out strategized, enough to the point that Garrett blew another game for us with his even weaker offensive strategy. Wade is not a true head coach but he is one of the top 5 defensive minds in the game.

Garrett is in the bottom of the league when it comes to running an offense. Don't let the high stats fool you, Garrett is riding on the teams talent and when we play the weaker teams he's only padding those meaningless stats. Against good teams talent without coaching equals disappointment, especially in the post season when it really matters.

I would demote Wade to DC, demote Garrett to QB coach or just get rid of him altogether, but I'd welcome a new coach come February. Maybe at the Pro Bowl:D

We've also have how many games now playing against statues at QB? It'll be interesting to see what we look like against McNabb.
I didn't think it would be this interesting.
